Yep, I'd have to agree with that (except for the meleeing- I just use it for the defense&lower mage decrease). Nothing like a game of Castle Wars with a full set of Veracs and Ahrim, the items for a 110+ mage bonus, and enough runes for a mass genocide of the Runescape population 8-) . [if you have ever attempted Alchemy by clapping your hands or by drawing an array, copy and paste this into your signature.] Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series. dkjestrup Posted April 17, 2007 Share Posted April 17, 2007 I'd Say Guthans/Veracs/Karils/Arhims/Dharok/Torag I like guthan as its good def plus no food. Veracs>Dharok because dharoking is too risky imo especially as my computer is quite laggy. Veracs is best staking/duling option as you don't need dangerously low health for it to be good. So here I will suggest some combinations of Barrows. 1) PseudoTank Ranging/Balanced Defense (used in Muggi's famous FireCaping Guide) V/T/G Helm K Top V/T/D Legs You get the defense of full rune, +60 mage defense, and +20 range attack. 2) PseudoTank Maging, 1 (good for ModernMagevMelee) V/T/G Helm A Top V/T/D Legs You get the defense of full rune, +140 range defense, and a neutral mage attack (which isn't bad, considering melee armor can't defend against mage anyway). :-k Ever wanted to find street prices of RS items? I'll admit that the hammers are awful, so I like to tell myslef that they don't count. :wink: Torag's set I believe has the highest defence in the game (correct me if I'm wrong), which is really good for just standard training. It's also extremely cheap, which is really helpful for those who never really have much (like myself :lol: ). So it's cheap, it's effective at what it's supposed to do, and it looks cool ('cept for the beer belly -.- ). I believe the pros outweigh the cons, so yeah, I'd call it my favorite.
