2. torag - even when bring guthans training, i have a torag plate an legs to train in, the def is the best why wouldnt you.

As it happens, Torag's plate has exactly the same defence as Guthan's plate

Verac>Guthan>Dharok>Ahrim>Karil>Torag

Verac cause I barrow a lot with it, guthan is very useful to dk with, I like dharoks looks, ahrim for acients and owning noobs at cw, karil and torag are there, mainly because I dont use them much but karils Xbow is good when I use the ocasional bolt with it

Most useful: guthans

Coolest: dharoks (hitting in the high 70s owns tbh...)

Most useless: torags

You can't really compare them to each other, since they all have different uses (except torags, which is useless).

1.Guthans (looks wicked with d sq or phat and cape)

2.Torags (good def and cheap+doesn't look too bad)

3.Verac (did me well during my kq days  )

4.Dharoks (makes training easier with nice hits)

4.Ahrims (makes you look mysteriours like and pretty ncie with whip)

5.Karil (stinks :wall: )

I like guthans the most, since I like to slayer and it would be a very usefool tool for that. Not to mention alloff it's other uses.

its not that good for slayer you don't always hit when you need and somethimes you get the hits when your like full health.

Not really what it's cracked up to be.

If i have to go for the best looking, Verac.

If i have to go for the best one combat/trainingwise, Guthan.

If i have to go for the best one pkingwise, Dharok.

Some people dream of success, while others make it happen.

guthans > all the others.

You can use guthans for training. You can use it for barrows. You can use it for training slayer. You can use it for camping at any monster (except for in the smoke cave).

Dh hits high. Veracs is good for kq/staking. Karils is... useless. Arhims gives magic bonuses. Torags give good def bonuses.

whats your favorite are usually considered spam... :-k

Then do the right thing and report it as spam, instead of spamming your self.

Torags has defense..Doesn't anyone like it for that (excluding hammers -.-)

Common misconception.

Guthan plate = Torag plate, both cost and defense points.

Verac bottom = Torag legs, in defense points. V bottom has pray bonus and is cheaper than torag.

Body Stats:

Dharock's = Guthan's= Torag's > Verac's

Leg Stats:

Dharock's = Torag's > Verac's Skirt* > Guthan's

Helm Stats:

Torag's = Guthan's > Verac's** > Dharock's

*Verac's Skirt is 8 points worse in range def (compared to Torags, but also has +4 Prayer

** Verac's helm is 6 points worse in range def, but also has +3 Prayer

What I hope to have:

Verac's Helm

Dharock's Plate (or Guthan's), Verac's Brassy

Verac's Skirt

Verac's Flail

So I would either wear full verac's (for the set special) or

Verac's Helm/Helm of Neitiznot

Dharock's plate(Or Guthan's)

Verac's Skirt

I know, I look way into things. (I chose Dharock's plate/Guthan's over torags only on looks)

Since you can't judge the stats of the set, here is what I think about the specials:

Guthan>Verac>Dharock>Ahrim>Karil>Torag

Guthans - Useful in so many different situations.

Torags - Cheap, also provides me with the best defence in the game. ::'

Veracs - Useful special effect, although I don't agree with plateskirts. :anxious:

Ahrims - I don't own a set of this but has some good melee defense for mage robes.

Dharoks - I don't own a set and I don't intend to for the time being, hitting high isn't something I need at the moment.

Karils - Black D Hide suits me fine kthxbai. O:)

Ever since barrows came out, I simply loved torag. This also became the first armour of barrows type that I bought. Later I also had other sets except guthan. My set up

Verac <3: (great looks, great armour, great prayer bonus, simply love the special.)

Torags (simply the best, strongest biggest armour out there!)

Karil (life became so much easier when I could easily own Ahrim without prayer)

Ahrims (You ever wanted to look like that Sith in Star Wars.. this outfit is just scary and also great magic bonus. To bad the special works only against players and the staff isn't that great)

Dharok: Great armour and such, but I just hate the slow and painfull axe. And only the armour is just.. nah not my taste. Just something about it, I do not like.

Guthan: Putted on last place as I have never used it. It is probaly above ahrims or karils.
