Here is where you guys just post what you think are the most important skills to get to 99.

There aren't really important skills, but if i had to choose i'd say Runecrafting, Mining and Slayer, mainly because THOSE are the hardest to level (Runecrafting being the most profitable one).

The combat skills. The game centers around them, so they're the most important imo.

I never had a 99 goal until now, my goal was mostly getting ALL skills above 50...hit it, then 60, and now that I only have 3 left I have decided to go for 99 Prayer.

 

 

 

It'll take awhile, considering it will cost roughly 75-80 million to buy dbones, although I plan to slay dragons for them as well. (First I'm getting contruction, to build a guilded altar)

 

 

 

I'd like to get slayer to 99, because It's the cape I see the least often.

most important skill to get to 90's: runecrafting. Double nats = only way in the game to get 1 mil an hour other than merchanting + staking. (unles you count glitch abusing and scamming)

the most efective would be all combat stats because each lvl has more effect, and the coolest/hardest one would be runecrafting wich is also one of the best capes...(together with prayer, slayer and woodcutting)

I think agility is pritty useful to have. Usually you have to run places and it makes the task a lot faster.

The only ones we NEED to get to 99 are smithing, and the combat related ones...

merchanting is 1mil per hour average IF your already rich.

 

staking is 10bil per day if your cursed you, its based on luck though.

As long as you have the money, it actually makes the game somewhat fun.

Cooking and Fishing is for getting food for combat

 

Smithing and Mining is for getting armour and weapons for combat

 

Agility is so that you can get around quickly!

Its good to have , Lets say 99 hunting , Chinshompas goes so much faster then, then with 63 hunting.. And the 1 + with the cape, Got to be exellent. :boohoo:

I think he pretty much summed up what I thought.

For me the most important skill to gain would be 99 strength

 

bacuse all i do is pk :D

 

 

 

but for others it may be 99 rcing, for the potential to earn nice cash

 

or 99 agility because no matter what you do in runescape, its going to be beneficial for getting things done quickly and also because the emote just owns all ^_^

 

 

 

everyone does different things so it will always be different

umm most important would be in the combat section, but the most usefull meaning a stat that helps other stats and gives you extra's. I would have to say woodcutting, it gives too fletch firemaking, and that makes fletch work which you need crafting for bow strings and mage to alch *(if you alch the bows) and you need runes for the alching so rune crafting so ya pretty much woodcutting is the most important usefull skil other then combat..

Prayer, agility and magic. Prayer would be very useful with 99 points which would help with barrows and high-level monster killing. Agility because your energy would regenerate in a flash and magic is just ownage.

actually, you can get runners, and pay them in cash per run. That way it takes about 15 seconds per "run" (trade). So if you keep 20 nats, thats 960k an hour.

I don't know if there are important skills.But if by important you refer to the skills that are important to us ,meaning the skills we like i would say mining,smithing,from what i've heard hunter is pretty nifty too but i'm still level 1 :?
