For the past few days, I've been having very bad luck at steel dragons. I brang 8k fire bolts and went in and came out empty handed. Normally I get 1-2 legs or skirts for every 8k. Some other people told me that the drop was raised.. is this true?

Raised? Wouldn't that mean there were more?

I think he means the amount you have to kill to get a drop raised...sounds like you were lucky to begin with I hardly ever got those drops.

if you normally get drops and you havent now, yet people say its been raised i don't see how this makes sense :-#

I didn't get a single pair of D legs or skirt in over 25k fire bolts. Consider yourself lucky, bub :-$ .

last 6-7 iron tasks have been fruitless too :cry:

Just because you haven't gotten a pair doesn't mean you can jump to the conclusion that Jagex lowered the droprate.

I have killed like 100 iron and like 75 steel and I have never gotten any dragon drops... never ever. :(

I've had 1 med for about 300 steels killed.

It's all about luck.

 

 

 

Like a month ago I spent some time on abby demons and got like 15 whips and now on this week I have spent almost same time there and got 3 whips. Sometimes you are lucky and sometimes you can just forget about it.

i've probably done around 50 iron/steel dragon tasks and i've only gotten d med, d skirt, and d spear.... no legs =(

I kinda know what you mean...I have fought 100 steel drags...and im only getting rubbish rune javelins, coin and bloods :-s

At my iron dragon chart I got these percents for those items:

 

Blood runes (15) 176 17,48 %

 

rune javelins (4) 206 20,46 %

 

270gp 151 15,00 %

 

550gp 80 7,94 %

 

990 gp 6 0,60 %

 

3000gp 1 0,10 %

 

 

 

First drop, then how many times and the last is (if you couldn't find it our yourself :P ) how big percentual odds you got.

 

 

 

As steels seem to share the same drop ratios for bloods:runejavelins:coins: runite items:etc, it's not a wonder you feel like getting those drops all the time.

i don't know i did one task of steels when i was goin for 85slayer and got 2 pair of legs lol.. it took 40 kills the first day they were out for legs and i got another pair in like 50 kills the day after.. I've gotten 6-7 skirts and 5-6 legs from there tho...

the only time JAGeX chnages things are either in the changle lofs or when everyone complains on the forums

least you got a skirt i've done about 1k with nothing, including about 200 of them steels

HE didn't. He said other people said that and due to his last trip he is curious about it.

 

I personally haven't been there for a long time but a clan friend went yesterday and got 2 skirts from Steels which is about average for him.

Pfft, I've killed THOUSANDS of irons without anything. Killed Hundreds of steels since my last skirt too... Had 8 skirts to 2 sets of legs... The legs came before skirts were even made...

don't see why they would need to raise the drop rate :uhh: but as Jagex will do the most pointless things i wouldnt be suprised if they decided to raise all the drop rates just for the hell of it and then as usual not tell us

I never stated that I did. I'm curious as to whether anyone knows. I didn't base this on my own experience, but to multiple accounts from people.
