April 22, 200719 yr Hey! I love RTS's, I don't know what it is about them, I just love 'em. But they are getting a bit old.. Can you reccomend any good RTS's? (Old or New) What ones do you own? Which is your favourite? I myself, reccomend Command and Conquer 3 for the P.C, NOT for the xbox, as it is hard to control and i think the UI(user interface) looks cack. (yes I've played the demo) I own most of the Command + Conquer series aswell as Dawn of War + Dawn of War: Dark crusade. I also have Warcraft III and TFT and Empire Earth 1(lost disk :cry: ) and the expansion. I must say my favourite RTS's are the Command and Conquer series(especially red alert 2) aswell as the Dawn of War series(I love the risk based campaign) Also, I was just wondering, is there any popular freeware RTS's? April 23, 200719 yr Try Homeworld. if you can still find it its a great game, it won the 1998 game of the year award. it is a space rts, fully 3d and real time. the premise is playing as a alien race trying to find their way back to their homword which they have been long exiled from. the quest begins after their world is virtuly whiped out by... wait why am I spoiling it for you? oh and if you go to game spy's downloads for video games you will find the original ground controll free to download in full coperation with sierra. both games are from sierra so go to their website for more information if your interested. April 24, 200719 yr I really love playing warcraft 3... The story/campaign is simply magnificent.. also I like that you have 4 totally different teams, which all work in completely different ways! First they came to fishingand I didn't speak out because I wasn't fishing Then they came to the yewsand I didn't speak out because I didn't cut yews Then they came for the oresand I didn't speak out because I didn't collect ores Then they came for meand there was no one left to speak out for me.

April 27, 200719 yr Dune II (Or the Dune 2000 for windows remake) was a fun games. But would be dated now. It was one of the pioneering RTS games.
