As far as I know, the necklace of skills hasn't been released yet, as I haven't played in a while and the KBase page it links to doesn't list a necklace of skills. Anywhere.

 

 

 

Meaning, of course, the logical assumption. This month they're going to release a use for the ruby necklace. And they leaked it. And I'm a moron. And I found it.

Blahr! Think about how easy it would be to mine gold! It'd be easier than the dwarf mines! Rub your necklace of skills to get to the guild while equipped, then bank with ring of dueling to castle wars! And you're getting the gold to make these items!

Besides that, how does anyone know if this is the ruby amulet? It could be the diamond, dragonstone, onyx or even sapphire.

I'm just guessing that it's ruby. It's a flying guess. Besides, it's a necklace, not amulet. And the sapphire necklace has already been used.

 

 

 

If it is Onyx or Dragonstone, eh . . . that's probably possible. But then it'd need a way of recharging, because they wouldn't give it unlimited charges. And they couldn't give it limited and then have it go pop because onyx and drag are too rare.

 

 

 

But of course, these are just my opinions on an item not yet released. It could even be a quest item. For all I know.

to be honest, i dont think a teleport to the crafting guild is all that great. sure, you want to get 1 load of ore? great. want to get a closer tele to the snape grass? fine. need to tan some hides and all out of glory charges? yay for necklace of skills! but buying/making multiple necklaces to go to a tanner/area to mine would be kind of counterproductive. i mean, how much are bulk rubies? 1.5-2k ea? well, go ahead and try to make a profit, or keep a low cost rate when tanning hides. and in all honesty, i would rather mine gold ore in that area (for got name: between a rock... quest) and give the dwarf the 3 gold ore to transport my gold than have to worry about how many necklaces i have, or what teleport im on.

 

 

 

however, you would still be able to make a profit on gold ore since a load of gold ore is worth 14k gp. this might reduce gold prices though.

 

 

 

and finally, we might not know what this necklaces does in all actuality. it might teleport to the crafting guild as well as other places like the fishing guild, the mining guild, etc. It is the necklace of skills, not the necklace of crafting guild.

I think it will be Skills Necklace will be an enchanted Ruby or Diamond necklace, because as stated above, its likely it will have a limited number of charges.

 

Dragonstones and Onyxs are too rare to be limited i.e. 'crumble to dust' when all the charged are used (and Sapphire and Emerald are already taken). Though I spose they could be recharged in a similar was to Glorys.

First the Azrian(sp) mine isnt the best spot in the world, nort-west brimhaven is. When this is released it will become the fastest way to mine both gold, clay and silver. We CARE about gold because it's the fastest way to raise smithing. With this method the power-smithers now have 3 options :

 

 

 

- Mine all the gold and smelt (longest)

 

- Buy all the gold and smelt (costy, shortest)

 

 

 

OR (new!!)

 

 

 

- Mine it there using both tele to there and cw ring then smelt, wich is average long and costless (sell the gold bars to buy the gems and runes, and use the gold bars to make). Makin one of the hardest skills easier to train without buying.
