I hate people that abide by fashion trends.

Wtf, why?

You hate people because they want to fit in with others? You hate people that wear clothes they think look cool?

I hate models, fads and fashion.

Case closed

Does it make ya feel better if the models hate you too? And BTW I take offense to that, I am a model and you hate me.

Ha Ha Ha! I don't care if you hate, go ahead. :shame:

You must die....

about your earlier post about having skirt as long as your middel finger does that mean ONLY your middle finger? which is like... 3-4 inches...? :-s

wow... i never imagined a model playing rs <.<

A very pretty model at that. <3:

Lol, but on a more serious note, yes, all kinds of people play Runescape. Young, old, parents, teachers, etc.

[what the heck], why?

Personally, I dislike it when people follow fashion trends solely for those reasons. If they actually find the clothes their wear to be comfortable and enjoy wearing them, go right ahead. But there are some people who wear 'fashionable' clothes just to fit in, or just because they're trying to look cool, or just because that's what everybody else wears.. they may not even like the clothes themselves, but they just want to be 'like the cool people.'

People who do this are living off other peoples' opinions of them, which I don't think is a nice way to live. I say wear what you want to wear, not what other people classify as 'cool' to wear.

My style...

(Male)

Long hair, but only because mine is awesomely curly.

I always have a metal-ball necklace with a heartagram on it.

Black shirts, sometimes bright colors with dark pants, and the occassional light blue tight shirt (ThePostalService shirt <3)

Tight pants. Only.

Black or white studded belt.

Wallet w/ chain. (the chain is pretty awesome to keep my house key on)

Black converse or black DC shoes.

(My converse are pinstriped <3: )

Occasionally checkered wristbands.

grey/black striped scarf in winter.

Suit jack on top of a normal outfit, sleeves rolled up mostly, 70s-80s style.

Tight thin hoodies, zipped all the way.

Thick bulky yet small hoodie, sleeves rolled up, unzipped.

And most importantly, boxer breifs.

There you, that's basically me.

For those with witty responses, I couldn't care less whether or not you think I'm emo.

Your argument rests on the assumption comfort is more important than what you look like. Why is comfort above looks? Why do you dislike the fact that people want to look nice or wear what lots of other people wear?

With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

I wear Hollister, AE, or snowboard brands.

Preppy clothes ftw. And plaid shorts. Girls love those. \'

Whenever I go shopping I take a girl, she picks out the clothes, and I wear them. Girls know what girls like. =P~

very interesting... lol "you take a girl" *runs to street and grabs a random girl* -.-

josh181830.png

Well yeah.

Finding the girl is half of the shopping.

Well I don't even know the brand names of my clothes, much less whether they're considered fashionable, but I like them.

I wear:

Black Trenchcoat (But only on cool days.)

Two black shirts, one over the other, the over one being an unbuttoned buttoned shirt.

Black pants,(I think the kind of pants is called khakis, but I'm not 100% sure on that)

Basically, anything black I can get my hands on(Minus any kind of shorts or tightpants.)

And I haven't seen this mentioned before, but what about hair? I know that in my city I'm one of the only guys with hair longer than 1/2"(I have a ponytail) and that all the others have those military-style cuts. Is this wide-spread? Or is it just those damn aggies?

Well Satenza, you and Tripsis have a point.

If you don't wear something comfortable, that could cause cramps (i.e. shoes that are too small).

And say you're going to a dinner. You want to look nice and not like you just came back from a sporting event.

I think that comfort has to balance out looks.

.. Just an opinion.

Well most fashion trends don't require you to be uncomfortable, even if they did i don't see why soemone else's possible uncomfort would make you dislike their fashion sense. Comfort comes over looks because looks is percived as being selfish. I always detect a hint of jealousy in those types of arguments.

Heck I don't now why some of you think that without following the fashion you can't look good. Fashion is very manipulated in my opinion. Like, look at this picture (came up first on the word "fashion" in google pics).

missoni-man.jpg

Now one designer came up with that happy look and now that is the fashion? What the..? Does that even look good? So thats fashion?? Like how's that white pants he wears are special? Those are probably no more than 30$ if you buy it in places like Wal-Mart. But now some idiot has his brand's name on it so it worths hundreds(if not thousands)?

Just wear what looks good on you...

I pay attention to what I wear, because when I have crappy clothes on I feel like ashamed somehow. =P~ But I'm not the kind of fashionwhore who changes their style once a month.

I'll post what i wear atm so you get the idea..

Levi's Jeans

Some noname socks (wth it doesnt even show during the day so who cares about it's brand)

Converse All Stars (These actually are confortable, and not expensive at all)

Nike shirt (Cost me what 10 dollars??)

(You may say hey you have clothes that have good brand names but actually those brands' clothes cost the same as if they were a cheap-o noname ... -.-)

rickastleywh7.png

Strangely enough I don't care about fashion! I just wear 'average' clothes.

Why say strangely? It's just an interest like any other. Or at least I think it should be. You don't see anyone saying: "Strangely enough I'm not interested in bird watching". Unless they're being sarcastic of course.

I mostly shop at places like Walmart and Kmart, they have fine clothes without any stupid company logos on the front. I mean, that is one thing that ticks me off, when people wear shirts saying "american eagle", or "Polo Assn". Stupid morons, what is the point of that??? Anyways, places like Walmart also have comfortable clothing that is not overpriced, and that matters to me. I generally wear a loose t-shirt and comfortably sized jeans. I also wear off brand sneakers that are well priced, because you really can not tell the difference from major brands anyways. To sum it all up, price and comfort are the most important things to me when getting clothes, not the current fashion trends that will most likely last only a few weeks. \'

um i doubt it... err not all clothese from walmart are comfortable... I mean just that the quality isn't as good.. This is one of the reason i wouldn't shop from walmart or kMart for clothes. Usually brand name clothes are better because they last longer..Btw with shoes trust me u can tell if it a good brand because well known have their own special bottom or side style unique.
