pk_kjv
Well just did some quick calculations to see how much xp i could get in 5 minutes and 18 seconds. I am at 69 woodcutting and used a rune axe. Here's the results: 1.Oak Logs: 3,150 (west of varrock) 2.Willow Logs: 3,780 (south draynor) 3.Maple Logs: 2,700 (north seer's) 4. Yew Logs: 2,275 (below beehives in catherby) Just wonderin if these results seem acurate to you all. Also i would like some one with 60, 80, 90, and 99 woodcutting to this experiment too, i would love to see the results. Thanks for everything. Fedorca99
Do those tests 5 more times and average the results. That should make sure they are realistic.

acenator
Right now, I'm at 95 wc, and I'm cutting yews. I've never actually tested the rate of exp, but, at my level, yews are considerably good exp. As for willows, I'm going to have to say that they are the best woodcut exp you can get until about level 75 woodcut (at least, possibly higher). I might test a few things after I get to 99, but that's a few weeks away. > SELECT * FROM users WHERE clue > 0;0 rows returnedThere's no place like 127.0.0.1There are only 10 types of peoplein this world: those who understandbinary and those who don't.This statement is false.$DO || ! $DO ; trytry: command not found
Majin_Numark
I have nothing to back up what I'm about to say... but in my opinion, Willows are by far, the fastest WC exp in the game. I've been trying out Yews in the Gnome Stronghold (where I have 4 trees, due to planting one there) and the Willows outside of Barbarian Assault, and I get far more exp per hour with the willows. I have just never recorded anything about it.
piman1053
Go for willows, till the high 80s. not high 80s, but rather 99, unless you prefer slow cash over great xp.
andylax38
Well just did some quick calculations to see how much xp i could get in 5 minutes and 18 seconds. The Power7 (#1 woodcutting) trains on maples -.- . When everything's been said and done, more has been said than done. All skills 80+
Pyre_of_gods
I prefer yews over willows.. They're better than willows when you get to the 90s.
None2None
I personally would say willows until 94, then yews if you're not worried about earning money... I've also heard of people doing willows until about 85 and then switching to maples...but I don't know how effective that would be. I'm also not the greatist woodcutter, I'm just telling you what I've heard from others. ;) ~ Clicky for the blog of No Cb Skils ~

Roglord
I'm 99 Woodcutting and went all the way to 99 at Willows near Barb assault. Willows are faster than Yews, even at 98. If you want to go faster than willows, go to Teaks in the Karamja jungle, and take a friend. You cut Teak, trade to them and they burn them. Pretty good Firemaking exp for them as well as fast WC for you.
