What I mean by base clothes, is the clothes you wear when you haven't equipped anything. Ever happenned to you that you thought red top and green pants would look perfect with your trijester hat and your trijester scarf, went at Thessalia's to get your makeover, and found out the green and red were really lame? same here. Well I propose that we have brighter and darker colors for the base clothes. Bright orange, dark violet pants, would look perfect.Exactly the outfit I wanted to have. But I get this:

 

 

Dull, boring colors.It looks like all they're fading away. Now, doesn't this look better?

 

 

This could help new players that have some sense of style look a bit more sophisticated.

-How it works-

 

 

 

When you make a new account you will see only 2 arrows (instead of the usual hundred when you make an account) and it will have a name beside it, By pressing the arrows you change the thing your selected onto (torso, legs, hair, body color, boots, etc.), not like now how it changes the color or the design.

 

 

 

What ever it says between the arrows is what it is currently on, when your on it you will have settings to change to the side, the color and design.

Basically, i'm suggesting a brighter and a darker shade for every color already existing.

Tailoring should not be a skill by itself, but perhaps could become part of the crafting skill. Or the makeover mage should be allowed to let you customize your characters outfit seeing as it can change you from a guy to a girl, I think it can change the color of your clothes. But I was actually thinking about this the other day because my outfit looks ridiculous so I definitely support.

I support full heartedly! as a vain set of pixels my character wants to look really unique as i usually like walking about in my basic gear with a few items added in, so yeah i'd love to see jagex improve our characters clothes.

U can already make clothes with the hunter skill (i've never actually done it so I don't know much about it) maybe they shld mix this with crafting to make custom clothing :lol:
