May 11, 200719 yr I've spent a long time doing my Dark Knight. This is probably my best pixel art I've done and I'm very proud of it. :D My sister did the main art work by sketching it by pencil, she's a very good artist. I just then had to pixelate it all. The Dark Knight is called Lord Icorin with his scythe, Black Cresent. When I eventually get back on to Runescape, I'll post it to Jagex and hopefully it will appear in the player gallery. : Yes, I've outlined it with black lines which most peope don't like, but I'm fond of black lines. :P I'm still not to sure on the horned helm since that is my work, not my sisters. Oh and I don't do shading. Next, I'll do a dark landscape behind him. No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
May 11, 200719 yr Very nice linework... nothing really impressive with the pixeling though ... Its all very plain and mono-tone... no highlights and very little shadeing.. :? New sigzor^^

May 12, 200719 yr I wouldn't want to wear that armour. It looks damn uncomfortable. Varrock Library: Shattered Sky | Silent Thunder | The Emperor's FinestAstri @ MythWeavers

May 13, 200719 yr it would be great if it had actually some shading Click my main sig to see my fakes :D Proud to be Mexican, yay!
May 13, 200719 yr I think shading would not fit his style. It looks good as it is, nothing wrong with. Are you going to make a background? [http://woopidoo2.deviantart.com][Tip.it Moderator from Dec 10, 2006 to 03 Sep, 2008]
May 13, 200719 yr Author Some good opinions. Thanks guys! :) The picture should really have a monotonous feel. Haven't got round to doing a background yet, I've been doing other stuff. I've done a little alterations on some of the trimming, which I haven't loaded up yet, that will be along with the background. No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
May 13, 200719 yr Author I've done a background, probably not as good as the the Knight though. No longer playing Runescape, I caught the WoW bug.
May 14, 200719 yr i think as it is know a little shading, not to much would be good, im not to fond of the helm though, could add some detail, it really looks like a bucket with some horns on it if you ask me the rest is great though
May 14, 200719 yr replace armor with hood+robe and you've got your self a gw dervish from nightfall =D Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.
May 19, 200719 yr It looks really good and I understand your style...only thing I don't like much is the helm...i'd get rid of one of the sets of horns..and make the other ones sharper..and curved another angle instead of up...the rest of his armor already has enough of an upward feel
May 19, 200719 yr The thing I find disappointing about this community is thinking that every piece needs shading. It's art ffs, it's to be done as the artist wants it done. I personally like this piece as it is. I think shading would prove to be a negative effect on it. Internet Marketing For Newbies
