Live for the challenge?

Featured Replies

Do you live for the challenge?

Something that can actually stump you? And make you think?

Something to surpass.

I guess I myself do live for a challenge. Life's not fun nor interesting if whatever you do comes too easily. I can apply that to school. If everything I do is too easy, I push myself harder to find something that is hard. And when I find that, I go even harder to surpass that.

Yes, I do insane things to challenge myself and prove to myself I can succeed at these challenges. Stuff Like memorizing all the capitals (and flags) of the world, Canada, the US, and Australia. I also challenge myself through fire staff spinning and fire poi. I've also recently thought about memorizing a 100 or so digits of Pi.

Physical challenges however, I fail at lol. :P

I... uhhh... do well in school? :-$

Try 40,000. :P

I don't do anything too challenging. Skate, play football, all advanced classes in school, Tang Soo Do (blackbelt). I'm all great at the things I do, doesn't make too many things challenging. O:)

Does anyone have a suggestion onto what I should do that would stump a retarted 14 year old kid living in Virginia?

Good question. I suppose I do live for the challenge of knowing about the universe in which I live. It certainly is a challenge at times, but that's half the fun. I also live for sentimentality. Sounds wierd, maybee, but I dig positive memories and experiences. :P

Um. Another thing Viktor and Penguin have in common. #-o

Yeah...Uh...Like Viktor, I do similar things...I memorize random stuff...Capitals, flags, countries, the periodic table (Managed to be able to recite all 118 for a few weeks...Forgot them afterwards), pi (Used to be able to memorize 200, now only 25), etc.

And yep, I fail at physical stuff too.

And I'll go memorize all the flags of the countries in the EU. Not to mention all the capitals of the islands in the middle of the Pacific and all the names of every single region/province in every country in Europe.

Maybe this summer I'll do something (such as learn to fly proficiently on VATSIM), but during school I always have a nagging feeling that something's due :P

I just posted something! ^_^ to the terrorist...er... kirbybeam.

I like a slight challenge when it comes to school, but if I'm in over my head I just won't try. I like to be knowledgable and a well-rounded person so I get as much as I can out of the things I do. I do fairly well in mental and physical challenges because I've been pushed in both my whole life. My father always made me play sports (which is why I no longer like to play them compedetively) and my whole family has always pushed me in school (which is why I end up in classes that are over my head).

Lol, I thought about Oceania. I only have the countires memorized. Which reminds me, I got to make sure I know all the American Territories.

American Samoa= Pago Pago

Northern Mariana Islands= Saipan

Guam= HogÃÆÃâÃâÃÂ¥rtÃÆÃâÃâña/AgaÃÆÃâÃâña

US Virgin Islands= Charlotte-something...um...I forgot...:XD:

I also forgot Missouri and almost Ohio in a backwards capital name the state test I gave myself. :XD: :XD: :XD:

And yes, WE are weird.

I suppose I live for a challenge, afterall, what else is there to keep us tethered to this insane world if not for the though of being able to challenge ourselves? I do math problems for fun (Weird, I know, but hey, I want that to be my job); I am training to run a marathon; I love to try new things; I love making card pyramids and other nearly impossible structures when I'm bored. Yes, I live for the challenge.

Other than tricking... the only challenge I ever have is the schoolwork I'm forced to do.

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

Wear a t-shirt that says(or something like it):

Front:To keep an idiot occupied, read the back.

Back: Read the front.

I have a similar outlook on life. I have an absolute thirst for knowledge, which means I spend a lof of my team trying to learn as much as I can about things, especially fundamental things.

I do like a challenge, say, maths wise. But, if I can't solve it, it can get frustrating. But I relish anything that makes me think.

Physically, I always try to push myself to go faster, harder, longer. Even with silly things, like riding home from school i'll go flat out up the hills to challenge myself, but arrive home panting and sweating but with a big smile on my face.
