Wingy77
Unfortunately it isn't about the game itself, it's about the level requirement. No, I don't want it raised, I want the restriction area changed. Jagex says that you need to be 40+ for pest control. That means you can't get on the lander but you can still get to the island if your under level 40. This has to be changed from the lander to getting on the boat to get to the island. Why? Because there are level three auto buyers in the mage shop. This would be another way to cut down on autoers. Opinions? To get in her you need a lockpick...Wait for it, wait for it..Bow chicka bow wow!
Dork
Would most likely just make them auto their way to level 40, lol :? Could work, but probably not for too long :P Also, should probably be posted here. ;) Sig And Avatar by Tripsis - 99 Slayer Blog - My Pyramid Plunder GuideOwner of Fire Cape since 28-09-2005 - 426th to 99 Strength

This is a good idea (belongs in suggestions forum) and would cut down at least one source of the autoers money. Lastfm

n64jive
This wouldn't stop the auto buyer problem. You could argue that it would punish the low level skillers who buy runes to sell money, but the ammount of them is so small that it would really help a better cause by now allowing 40 and under to the island. Either way, like has been said, the autobuyers would just lvl up to 40 combat(40 combat takes an hour on rs2?) Something I would like to see happen is random mugger's that spawn in shops and attack ppl who sit their and buy stuff. Maybe this isn't logical tho, as it would also harm legit players. One thing good about the auto buyers is that they take money out of runescape. Sadly this isn't really a big help because all it really does it balance out the money brought in by the other autos. Also it adds a surplus of raw materials(runes, logs, arrows) to the economy
Abyssalwhip
Most autos buy runes in the mage bank+1, you should need to actually finish the mage arena before being able to use the shop, no flaws with that right? Your name is "bet you fail", and you're starting a business with your mom? I'm not even going to touch that.....

Im positive you don't have too because there's like a mage requirement of 60 mage to complete it or something. I may be wrong. But i honestly don't have a problem with macroers, i've never macroed in my life however if it wasn't for them you wouldn't be able to buy items in bulk or anything for quick levelling etc. Granted if it wasn't for them not many people would have maxed out stats in skills such as Cooking & Fletching and other skills. Pivotto
I believe Pest Control needs a lot more important updates then this, like the point spending system... they need to have options to spend: 5, 10, All and X. Also, who cares if people are auto buying runes? Just buy from players.
Freesia
Why not just use magic guild? :-k :? Obviously autoers can't handle the massive magical power in that guild that they can't enter Strangely with WotLK so near, I wished I could delay it a bit to push through that last TBC content in MH/BT :'(. Wingy77
This isn't about regular people buying runes from there, it's about cutting down macroers. If they change the area requirement then more macroers will be pushed to varrock and other mage shops. That will make it easier to track them down, plus it would bunch them up so that mods could ban them easier. To get in her you need a lockpick...Wait for it, wait for it..Bow chicka bow wow!
