Save Attack-style Settings!

Featured Replies

Hello,

Have you ever logged in and started combat, and after a while you see that you leveled Attack? (I haven't, but people have.)

The problem is, you didn't want to increase an Attack level, but a Strength level, or Defense level, or all 3 together.

How is this?

You were training, had to log out for a second, logged back in and you forgot to change your combat setting.

This can be very, very, very annoying! Certainly for pures!

So my suggestion is that when you log out, the combat setting is saved and when you log back in, your attack style will be the same as when you logged out!

So no more problems!

I suppose if they can save your sound setting en screen settings, they can save this aswell.

This might be a good idea, although Jagex can't just flip a switch to do this, and they do have more important things to worry about...

I assume JavaScript (or whatever they use) is pretty hard to work with for something simple like this.

Nah, it's really easy, they'd just have to save that setting aswell as your stats/invintory/prayer points/etc ;)

Supported here :)

Supported, no more accidental cb levelling for pures.

Personally, i dont really care for the pures arguement because I don't agree with them. But thats another topic, and I support. My attack is level 71, wheras my strength is 63 and defence 62, or something simelar to that, all because i keep forgetting to set attack styles. Oh well, more frequent hits for me! :D

The compiler is not Java, that is just the applet used to run it. I'm pretty sure they wrote their own compiler to make it a lot easier on themselves.

But i support, along with saving within the browser history of if you have the music off when you log in.

This is one of those ideas that should have been there allready. Thanks for suggesting it! ::' \'

I really would like to see this implemented. It would be incredibly useful.

This is how I accidently got my 1000 Total Level. I thought I was training Defence after I lagged out until the 'Congrats' screen came up. :XD:
