June 7, 200719 yr First of all I'd like to commend jagex on the great job they did, they're game plays almost perfectly, almost. :? I'm a big time pker, so even the tiniest lag can end in disaster for me. However, lately, I've noticed a lot of hic ups and some downright BIG lags that seem to be shared by other players, especially on the more crowded worlds. :| Anyone Share this experience?
June 7, 200719 yr 90% of the time it's to do with a more local connection, not the game server. Completly true, but I have actually also noticed that the game connections has been a bit worse than it uses to be lately. But I don't know if it's the server or if it's my local connection that struggles... Add me if you so wish: SwreeTak
June 7, 200719 yr For about a month last year the lag was so bad in RuneScape I wouldn't even play. But now it's fine. I have not been having problems lately. The only problem I had today was that I totally lost connection... yet my internet browser was still fully functional. Training my pure!

June 7, 200719 yr Yes, I have been lagging lately. The funny thing is, my hubby will be online playing Runescape at the same time as I am (we have two computers connected to our hi-speed line) and he doesn't lag at all. Then 20 or so minutes later, he lags so much he almost dies and mine isn't lagging a bit. I'm a married mother that plays RuneScape. Got a problem with that?

June 7, 200719 yr Computer, internet = so long >.> Don't get me wrong, I never lagg, especially not with my great computer, very good graphics card, very good processor, high-speed cable internet. But even with that, computers, all computers, are all slow as hell. In the future they'll be wondering how we could manage all this slowness, they'll be all controlling the computers with their mind, finding info and doing things at thought-speed :) 2480+ total
June 8, 200719 yr I don't lag, the only time I lag is when my brother gets on the other computer (lol router with phone high speed internet). I have one of the strongest comp they had before vista. It's maybe just because Jagex uses more technology, wich means, take better computers to play, just like games we play on cds... (too bad we can't have cable internet here... would be even faster than what we have...)
