i can control myself. i usially play for a couple hours a day for maybe 2 weeks. then i get bored and maybe only play a total 10 hours a week for a couple weeks.

well i just started playing again 2 weeks ago after stopped for ,acording to last loged in 175 days witch really surpised me when i saw that.

 

 

 

i started playing about 3 years ago my first 2 account got hacked :shock:

 

then i stoped playing for a while but when i started playing again i made my first member :thumbsup: and about 3-4 people in my class also played the game so i thought what the heck lets play it again and now i am readicited to runescape after those 175 days of not playing :shock: because i quited because i was bored.

I quit because I started wow. After I quit wow, i came back with nothing but my acc.. seeing as i gave everything away. Then i quit again, and thats it. I got sick of the community in rs to be honest. I hate the little kids that run around and say "reported noob". If i knew them irl, they wouldnt be breathing long. I hate idiots, and it seems that most of rs is full of em. Theres some pretty cool people here at tip it, but besides that and my old clan, theres not much. I also got sick of the rules, and ive broken every rs rule out there just to see how good their "detection system" is, and HAH, i have 0 black marks. Plus, the no bad language rule annoys me, if your over 13 you are mature enough to hear it, not need to be sheltered from it. Thats basically why i quit. Jagex is one of the worst gaming companys ive seen, blizz needs to take over rs and run it. ^_^

hmm, quit runescape a twice, once was about 2 years ago when world of warcaft started up in australia and i played that for a year, then came back to RS, and the last time i played RS was about 4 months ago wen the WoW expansion came out, im still playing WoW now and enjoying the game

I was addicted when i was going for 99 cooking, but other then when i not at least 5 lvls from a 99 (or a big goal) im not addicted, just nothing else to do in the summer. :-w

I just got bored. The increasing worse community on these forums was what did it for me. I still get on once or twice a month for a few minutes, but other than that, I'm done. I play World of Warcraft now. And with no censor in WoW, I can't see myself ever coming back. The censor is way too annoying. Plus, you can't really be "skilled" at RuneScape. With WoW, at least there is some kind of strategy involved.

wll that is a good way to stop playing RS. knowing that if you try to start again, you would start out new, with nothing to your screen name accept the small amount on items you left your self.

ive loved RuneScape ever since i started on dec 21 2005. i started from a friend who i have watched play RS when i went over to his house. but soon after that, he quit and went on to another MMORPG... but i stayed. he kept saying that "RS was boring, no good graphics, no real fighting, just bad all around," he even tried to get me to stop! to join his MMORPG! but i stayed :!: i knew RS wassent about the best graphics, it is about strategies, puzzles, adventures. and ive stayed on ever since i started.

 

 

 

yes ive played less, like when i got a new video game, when Wii came out, i played maby 1 hour a day, just to keep into it. but i beat those games, and slowley but shurely, came back. when i first started i playes maby 1-3 hours a day. now im up to about 9 hours a day. it dosent matter to me, it dosent really seem that long of time playing, id start playing, then finally look at the clock, noticing that hours have gone by.

 

 

 

i started back when not everyone was mean. it seemed that everyone was just starting out around the time i was. there wassent maby people calling others noobs, scams were not really the biggest thing out there, and bots were bairly noticed, yet there was still some. i remember when mauls were 100k, everyone had one, it was used in pking. but times changed and now its being sold at around 20k...

 

 

 

times have changed. now you cant go 1 minute without seeing noob, someone yelling SCAMER! it just seems that everyone has to keep to their selves. especially with hacking these days, anyone that wears a p hat will usually post a couple days later saying theyve been hacked. people have p hats, but dont wear them. santas are scamed with fezs, i havent seen anyone selling a ring of return or any other rare in forever. people seem to have to keep to their selves because of all this. no one wants to be hacked/scammes, or called a noob, but its still part of todays RS. i even trained to 90 to get past the -noob line- as it seems that everyone below 90 says their always called a noob.

 

 

 

 

 

but inspite of all that, i will never quit RS. ive gotten to attached to it :P i mean ive always wanted to ba a J mod, working on the game and whatnot. ive even taken stuff ot ba able to do that, well that or just amke video games. but nomatter what heppends, i will not guit for anything less that getting hacked. but even then i will probably go back and start over again.

 

 

 

ok, kind of a long story, but that is what it is these days -.-

I just kinda lost interest after a while. Then about a year later I started playing again, but I play much less then I used to.

if you have a problem (playing 12 hours a day) you NEED to quit. i used to play 5 hours a day (roughly) with friends. but now they have all quit, and the only thing keeping me going is the santa hat and red halloween mask that i have sought after since the beginning of my runescape days. i play about every other day and i fish sharks that i am saving up to buy a santa hat and a halloween mask. maybe someday i will reach my goal
