Well, I'm not even 14 yet, but I need some spare cash. :-w

 

I'm "okay" with photoshop, and forum making, so would it be a good and successful idea to create graphics and forums for others?

 

I'm really have no idea where to start, except that I should have a forum/website where people can order from.

 

Also, would it be okay to accept payment with PayPal, or should I use some other way for my customers to send in their money?

 

Oh, and other comments that can help or support me?

a lot of people are good in photoshop, and have no chance of getting a job with it. being okay won't get you anywhere. Find a job in the local grocery store or a Mcdonalds, although you are not in the legal working age for most developed countries, so you're screwed.

My cousin did this. but forums arnt very hard to make...and i think my bro is good in photoshop, but he wont make any money doing it...and i doubt neither will you

You'd be better off doing an online date entry job. And even then you'd be better off getting a real job...or even a paper-round.

I live in a rich suburb of Boston, Ma. and you can get a job most places at 14. Major grocery stores, little shops, food places, etc.

 

 

 

I wouldn't really try to make cash with photoshop.. Unless your AMAZING. Even then, how are you going to get the word out? You can't put it in your forum sig, as it's so easy to get a sig for free on these forums. Plus I'm pretty sure you're not allowed to charge money on these forums, at least.

there are forums like that already, were you can sign up and bid for work to do with photoshop and coding. I believe merciful knows of one, because i remember there being one in his sig. Ask him for it or search google.

I tend to avoid them. Even hard-core photoshop users have better luck in industry looking for people who need texturing done, or advertising, etc.

 

 

 

 

 

My quick solution - learn 3ds max, and get VERY good at either modeling or animating. By the time you hit 18 or so, you'll be damn awesome - and worth employing without going through all this rubbish low paying jobs.

 

 

 

Just make sure you have a portfolio of your work.

I'm currently doing graphics part time, and I can tell you, it's TERRIBLE money. lol. more of a hobby really.

 

Try at supermarkets, they have very flexible hours and good pay, plus it's easy work and a laugh with the people you work with!

Around here in Michigan, we usually have summer jobs detassling corn for slightly over minimum wage. I did it for one summer, made a few hundred dollars, and decided it wasn't worth the bloody heat..haha.

 

 

 

Although, the plus is, you can do it in middle school, I think the youngest is twelve. Depends on where you live, I suppose.

Hmm. If you're that young wouldn't it be an idea to ask your parents if you can do housework, wash car etc for extra cash? think you're a bit young for a proper job, nowhere will really employ you. Ask your parents if they know anyone looking for youth workers, your best bet is stuff like saturday market work, just one off bits yuo can do really.

Sorry but this is not a good idea. Firstly how will you advertise, secondly how will you get payments and such(as in if someone does not pay you for your work). Just get a part-time job somewhere in your town.
