But like someone said earlier, there is people who want to sell rares for lots of money in the wilderness. You think everything reads the front page? The number of times I've seen "where u get dat itum" I reply with "From the new quest" only to see "wat new quest"... OT: I saw someone make a thread just after the bow saying 'selling a new longbow' In the body he wrote that he was selling a newly fletched oak longbow... post offers. he made no claims that it was a darkbow, didn't even mention a selling price and people were bidding 20m+ funniest thing i've ever seen. ronnyuk Posted June 12, 2007 Share Posted June 12, 2007 It is so sad to see scamming still going on in RS, I quit in Jan after exactly 1 yr of playing, and started playing a different game, I have never seen a scam in the new game, RS needs Auction Houses, why do they still not have a proper method to sell items after being out for so long. If they made a MOD like Auctionner for wow then when you put your mouse over the item it tells you the rough value, also items are coloured to show the value, these are simple no brainer ideas that will stop scamming overnight, and make the game soo much better it might make some of us quiters come back. Firstly, the victims in the 'scamming' case get to choose whether or not they want to buy the hunter bow, or even read the topic, while in the wheelchair example the person is pushed off. Secondly, in the 'scamming' case the dumb idiot is choosing not to read the front page, and choosing not to double-check the name of the bow. In the wheelchair example, the handicapped person's predicament isn't because of his own laziness or bad choices. However, it doesn't mean that stupid people deserve to be punish for their stupidity. If anything, we should feel bad for them for not being as smart as the rest of us, not trying to take advantage of their stupidity.
