The guy ive been killing them with (Jerry) just got his first dark bow after 18 hours of killing!!!

i feel pretty lucky.. i came in the second day and got one after about 30 mins of killing them with wild pies (as well as a death tally drop)... everyone around me had been there for countless number of hours and were getting mad because they hadn't gotten one... i thought about selling it but its a good bow, and would probably just end up in the hands of some rich pure anyways

 

 

 

i thought about using it at dk as well... but its pretty risky

I was lucky to get my drop within 10 minutes but I people have been at dark beasts all day without drop, it is pretty rare. alot of people that were selling dark bows on RSOF did not have anything near to 90 slayer and were just price manipulating like crazy damn 12 year olds shouldnt tey be at school???? :x

On my 3rd day of killing them now

Ive been killing them for almost every second ingame. And since im done with school now, i have nolifed pretty much. I got my first bow after about 20kills.. Then it took me 18 hours of ingame time to get my second, third was lucki guess, came 2 hours after the second. But all in all, ive killed about 1500 of these, and 3 bows, so my guess its about 1/500, something along the lines of whip. Ive also gotn a fair deal of other stuff:

 

9 death tallys,

 

drag stone

 

7 Rune larges

 

12 rune chains

 

Drag med

 

and about 5-7 half keys

 

My guess is they will rise, since 5m is to low compared to its real rarity.

Right now Demand>Supply but yet do to scammers the price keeps going down but I believe standard price will be 4 mil

there where just too many ppl slaying them at once... :roll:

When I first read about the update, it seemed like everyone was getting dark bows like crazy. Could this have been a plot by a bunch of people to get bows to drop real fast? Did Jagex update the drop rate?

 

 

 

I am in no way trying to mess with prices, but all my clanmates on IRC who are 90 slayer are extremely mad right now because they have spent all day at dark beast and yet to get a dark bow.

People could have been there before killing dark beasts just to train slayer to 99 and they got a rare drop... It just happened to be the really cool new shiny rare drop... 8-)

I have gotten many runes drops too but now Im just not bothering to pick most of them up. Tonight I will be killing them all night aswell so hopefully I'll get a second bow.

I'm currently camping there and there's only 1 other person on my world, it's clearing out pretty fast now that the majority of the people killing them are getting discouraged and quitting.

 

 

 

I got my first one after approximately 12 hrs of killing, and I've been killing for probably around 25 total with no second bow.

I lost track of all the time I spent down there. I estimate it to be somewhere around 20-30 hours though. Anyway, I killed about 1190 with 4 Bows, 8 Death Tallys, 10 Rune Chains, 1 Rune Square(rarer than bow I think .), 3 Rune Full Helms, 1 Runite Bar, 5 Half Keys, and a whole lot of Rune Ore(thank you 85 Mining :).) However I also died down there once due to not paying attention :(. Lost about 1.2m of stuff and a potential Dark Bow drop although highly unlikely. I will not stop dark beast hunting unless the price drops too low. I bought 1k ranarrs before this update with the intent to use them on dark beasts. Also less than 2m exp away from 99 Attack and a trimmed cape :D.
