June 18, 200719 yr This programme is now on and just finished 10.00 gmt Channel 4 Basically the school is located in france. Its ALL boys :-w and sticks to a strict religious code. No electrical items in the weekdays....they teach latin and such. Also I think all the teachers except one are Male Unmarried 40 yr old Catholic Teacher living with mum + School of boys = Big trouble Please tell me if you saw this but I thought that the teachers may have had other reasons to teach for only ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâã5000 a year than just there religion Things like Catch the tail......I dont normally jump to conclusions but really...Lets be serious Catch the tail was a game where the boys had to get a like a hankercheef out of the teacher back pocket :shock: and visa versa..first one to pull it out ...wins...It look very touchy-feely kindy thing The Headteacher....He was an Engineer but decided to go teach at this school and drop his salary by thousands of pounds There are many Catholic Schools in England who would pay 6 x there salaries...Seems a bit all dogdy to me. June 18, 200719 yr No, they wern't pedophiles. With so many trees in the city you could see the spring coming each day until a night of warm wind would bring it suddenly in one morning. Sometimes the heavy cold rains would beat it back so that it would seem that it would never come and that you were losing a season out of your life. But you knew that there would always be the spring as you knew the river would flow again after it was frozen. When the cold rains kept on and killed the spring, it was as though a young person had died for no reason. In those days though the spring always came finally but it was frightening that it had nearly failed.

However, you do have a valid point. I just like to sit on the fence until I hear all evidence. As someone who knows several teachers fitting that description, and intends to become a teacher himself, I find that assumption, even in jest, objectionable. It's attitudes like that that prompt all these ridiculous, overreacting child-centred policies that governments love to put in place. When a teacher can't even give a crying student an empathic hug or even a pat on the shoulder because they might lose their job on account of paranoiac parents and administration, you know there's something terribly wrong with the system.
