Just a picture of cleared land. Nothing showing climate change, nothing amazing theories or discoveries. Just a picture. And the general theory is that Trees cut down>Less absorption of carbon dioxide>More carbon dioxide in air>greenhouse gass increase leads to more IR being absorbed by carbon dioxide>more IR emitted by carbon dioxide>climate change I'm gonna make a post tonight about the effects of melting ice caps is having on the polar bears. June 20, 200719 yr Ignoring the whole "global warming" aspect of your post, that would seriously suck. There's a huge wooded area back behind my house that I used to play in all the time growing up. I know that if I went out there one day and it was gone, I would be pretty upset. Ghost: I am prejudice towards ignorance, so that would explain why I appear to be so.

June 21, 200719 yr This doesn't relate to the topic, but I hate how people say it's global warming because it didn't snow much in some parts of America winter 2006-2007. Remember 2005? It snowed on Thanksgiving. My family had our christmas tree up that day in November. Omg, I woke up and thought it was Christmas, but it was actually thanksgiving. One year later, El Nino kicks in? Climate change ftw????

June 21, 200719 yr Global warming in a nutshell is when the temperture of the planet proceedingly gets hotter and hotter. That forest wasn't destroyed because of global warming. It was destroyed because some dudes went and chopped down all the trees. :roll:
