Unleasher10
I somehow doubt anyone on this thread actually has uncontrollable problems with concentrating, I think it's just the power of suggestion and lack of dedication, but maybe that's just me... http://www.google.com/trends?q=runescap ... f+warcraftWe win. Blueleader9
Agility is the worse to train IMO. Thank god I have a TV in my room. Yea, but collecting 1k snape grass is bad too, I just did it now I got/picked 500 snape grass, but now I'm trying to find a team to get a fighter torso...... ah I hate it. Beest1942
I know I have this problem which is not being able to pay attention to one task or keep doing the same task for a extended amount of time. Does anyone else have this problem? EDIT: I just can't, say woodcut 1k yews at once, i end up doing 3 different things in-game before i finish that task. Please Post Your Comments ~Blue~ I have a weaker form of ADD. So its hard for me to concentrate, let alone not tap or sing along with a song. If it wasnt for music, I'd still be lvl 6 Why do we bake cookies, but cook bacon? 99/99/80+ looking for monster hunting groupRS07: mb nb
pimmel15
well I can't do 1 thing for a ling time either, I made myself a goal to get 99 smithing by getting gold ores (from the crafting guild), smelt them with gold smith gauntlets and do this all the way to 99 smithing (because I don't have the money to buy the ores) but after like 4 levels (which is quite an achievement for me since that took alot of ores as well) I got bored and started to do something "inbetween" for some distraction. in the mean time it's been like a month and I haven't done anything on it... lol
C4SP3R
It happens to me usually. Then I don`t play Rs for 1 week and I repeat this once every 2 months. But basically I can concentrate on thing I am working on. For example, now I am getting 70 str. \
chaosgone
I'm the same way. I like to multitask in RS. For now, I am working on both Ranging and Slayer. And cleaning up bankspace at the same time by using up my bolts. http://www.chaosgone.blogspot.com

RpgGamer
don't feel too out of the norm, i can't stand doing anything on runescape for more than 2 hours...but if utelized correctly, you can actually accomplish more because of your ADD Quote Quote Anyone who likes tacos is incapable of logic. whocares
You're supposed to be having fun while playing runescape so I don't see how this would apply. It's not ADD its you not having fun. Why continue doing what you are doing if you are not having fun.
jakerules13
I have A.D.D. while doing anything lol. It's not that bad but I'll just go to c wars for a little bit and then cut some yews or go runecrafting. Remember, it's just a game. Oooh, I play on pokerstars in free tourneys which is fun too. Just make the Window really small and have the rs window behind it so you can make sure your character is okay :D
spikerkid
Hunter is the worst for it. Agility is a bit easier because when you don't really feel training fast than you can just click slowly. But when training hunter you can't slow down during it. If you don't you risk losing traps. Quit RuneScape :)

Why continue doing what you are doing if you are not having fun. Most people here don't seem to know what ADD is :-k Well, what I'm trying to say is, I cannot concentrate on one thing(or goal) at a time. Which is relative to ADD in a sense. Primeaction
yes i have this problem too. i just cant sit still for 5 mins in rl and cant do one task for 5 mins in rs. i usually listen to music or look other stuff up on the internet. (also forums  ) Not all F2Pers are beggars or scammers, some are respected members, but these respected people are over-populated by these beggar and scammers. pokemama
You're supposed to be having fun while playing runescape ... ... its you not having fun. Why continue doing what you are doing if you are not having fun. Remember' date=' it's just a game. [/quote'] I agree with both of you. I'm a grown woman (my son is 19 years old), I don't have ADHD, I was a straight-A student all through college (so I have an attention span), and if I finish 4 packloads (100) of something, that's plenty for me. If I've got someone to chat with I can continue an activity that doesn't require clicking (fishing or woodcutting) for hours, but if there's nobody I know around, I get bored pretty quickly. And on the other hand, I hunt because the traps (catching or collapsing) keep me quite busy, and I have a hard time stopping farming because I know that next patch on my round is already ripe and waiting for me, lol. I've been playing for 3 years, and for that length of time, my skills aren't great: but I *don't* watch TV while I'm gaming. If it's so dull that you have to do something else, why do it at all? I happened to be around in Edgeville when some level 126 (who'd been playing forever) was celebrating yet another 99 skill cape. One guest suddenly became sad when he realised he'd been playing as long as the rest of his friends, but had no 99's "to show for it". I asked him, "Well, during all these years, have you had fun?" And he said, "Oh, yes, tons of fun, that's why I love to play!" So I said "Well, that's the important thing!" And he realised that it was. All that matters, the real point of the game, is to have FUN. If a handful of people want to spend their time grinding, and they think it's "fun", more power to them. That doesn't make them "better" than me. I'm going to spend my time doing things I enjoy, and I'm not going to spend one minute doing anything that I don't like. So each of my levels represents a good time, and that's time well spent. :D it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
