Chickybee32's Goals & Ambitions

Recommended Posts

Seems a bit egomaniacal to assume that anyone wants to read this. Oh well, at least I have a place I can keep notes and remind myself of what I want.

[hide=Current Goals]

Current Goals

99 Woodcutting (lvl 94)

100 Combat (lvl 95)

[/hide]

[hide=Achieved Goals]

Achieved Goals

61 Crafting - ACHIEVED!!

54 Runecrafting - ACHIEVED!

59 Agility - ACHIEVED!!

58 Thieving - ACHIEVED!!!

248 Quest Points -ACHIEVED!!

[/hide]

So yes, I am pretty much aiming for the Questcape. I'm not a fan of crafting, or agility and RCing is one of the longest skills to lvl up IMHO.

I've just finished making gold bracelets from the 2k of gold bars I had left over from lvling up to do Devious minds. I'm about to start mining wet clay, cause I'm not heading into the wildy to kill green dragons.

And I'm bored. I've been making braces for about 90 minutes now and my head is starting to hurt. I took a break to play tennis on the Wii, but all I did there was hurt my ankle after tripping over one of my sons toys.

You know what was a royal pain in the rear? Being 500 xp off 56 agility and being all gleeful cause I'd never have to do it again if I didn't want to... and then the new quest got released. :shock:

Oh well... better concentrate I guess.

Guys, don't just say 'Good luck' it's informal* and it's spam.

Have fun and good luck to you =] some goals aren't too long term, but some are, which makes it fun, and that's what you'll have (Fun)

I dont need a siggy no moar.

Ah, a simple good luck is fine. It's enough to know that people are at least interested enough to say that much. As for fun... well, most of it's been a bit of a headache so far! And I'll be honest - I set short term goals because they're easier to achieve and I am, in pretty much every aspect of my life - Lazy!

So after 2k gold braces, some ruby & sapphire braces, 300 pot lids & 40 cowls, FINALLY hit 61 crafting. So tomorrow the plan is to do Lunar Diplomacy and either RC or WC like crazy. I was lucky enough to get 2 genie lamps tonight, which both went on RC xp.. so that, plus the 5k xp from the quest means that I'll be even closer to my 54 RC goal.

Well... it's nearly midnight here (I'm in Australia) and I'm sure I'll be woken up at an obscenely early hour by my 14 month old son jumping up and down in his cot and yelling "MUM MUM MUM" so, I must say G'nite.

^ That's a mystery that will never be answered.... :-#

Goodluck on getting...:

54 Runecrafting (lvl 53) <---1 more! Easy level to get!

99 Woodcutting (lvl 90) <- 9 more..but it'll be long!

59 Agility (lvl 56) <-3 levels...I don't think it'll be hard, but imo it's boring!

58 Thieving (lvl 55) <- Pain in the behind, but it's only 3 levels >.>

Will you please post on my blog? Just click the cape in my signature...And btw, You might want to add some pictures to this blog-to make it more attractive. AND.....

There's a thing called the "hide" feature in which you can save space by using hide bars to manage your topic, here's how you do them:

[hide=Hey]This is what you do[/hide]

It looks like this:

[hide=Hey]This is what you do[/hide]

There's no place like 127.0.0.1

There are only 10 types of people

in this world: those who understand

binary and those who don't.

This statement is false.

Well I finally hit 54 runecrafting... and it honestly feels like a bit of a letdown! lol OK, I'll be honest - naive little me had never bothered to look the prices of runes up on the forums and figured that 1k was the going price for a law rune and therefore, making them would an awesome way to make lots of money! :wall: Oh well, looks like it's back to the mage trees for easy money.

The main problem with training a skill frantically to hit the lvl I want, is that once I get there I never want to do that skill again.

Much <3 to Giant Torti for reminding me I had this!

So I've hit most of my goals for the questcape, now it's just a matter of actually doing the quests. I've tried Contact about 6 times, but just can't seem to succeed.

So atm, I'm mostly focusing on my woodcutting. I'm up to lvl 93, and by gawd, it's getting boring! I'm cutting mainly yews and magics, or if those are too busy, willows. I'm at Barbarian Outpost, drop by and say 'hey!'

And right now, I gotta give much love to the regulars in our clan chat for keeping me entertained. FRIED FRIARS! Baked Bishops! :lol: :twisted:

  • 3 weeks later...

Well after many headaches, fdrustration, swearing, minor tantrums, chocolate, countless cups of coffee and some bribery from my dear hubby, I am now the very proud owner of a Quest Cape. I cannot thank those in the clan chat enough for their support, especially:

Lady Heinous, for threatening to kick me if I didn't stop talking and complete Desert Treasure.

Stefan Huber for donating 85 sharks for the RFD bosses.

Giant Torti for being head of my own personal cheer squad.

Gothic Gaara, who wanted to be with me when I bought the cape, and sulked when I confessed I couldn't wait!

Syojatar, Zeus, Cappa Norris, Doom Tal and everyone else who put up with me complaining and whinging and continuously offered support and advice. :thumbsup: \' You guys are champions.

So at the moment, I'm working on woodcutting, slayer and possibly runecrafting. Other than the 99 wc goal and 100 combat, I have no specific goals. I'll be training combat via slayer, so I can make some money out of it as well.
