This is very usefull, of course, when i got temporarily muted once for asking where my friend lived (he/she thought i was a stalker) i got so mad.

 

 

 

I cursed and cursed and cursed and went crazy because some noob kept on pming me asking for my hunting level and i couldnt respond to him and he was like, what are you stupid noob? then i saw him in the wildy and tried to pk him, was attacked by deathdotting people and killed lol.

 

 

 

 

 

really, i would just turn my private chat off

another way is turn everything off and ignore everyone, thats what i do when i skill. but i keep the private chat on since its fun talking w/ friends.

True, but I still like to know what is going on around me. :P

Well, those are the basics on how to survive being muted. Your really only have to know how to make money, and make effective trades as a mute to do it. If you are permanently muted, I am very sorry and hop this helped. For those who are not muted, I hope you will never have to use this information.

Kell2005, I read your thread about giving more than one chance for perm mutes. I support to my fullest, which is what I stated in my post. :)

 

 

 

And, my one year being muted aniversary is in less than three months, on October 20th.

Got perm muted because a friend irl reported me for a little joke...BTW I went from 1.4-10.7 blackmarks on a single report

great guide! im sure this'll give other perm mutes some hope! im permanentley muted (as stated in signature) and ive been using a lot of these tactics to get on in my game, but for skilling i use a program called swiftswitch wich has live IRC chat at the bottom of my runescape screen instead of reading
