Isn't there another scam where they swap out the skirt for a bronze skirt (such as the black skirt scam)?

also, skirt provides more protection then helm, so you would think that skirt would be worth more then helm(or maybe some people would think)...

i fell for it, bad thing was some guys name like liiiliili so that was hard to remember and didnt report in time. little basterd got my fury, so i went to cw to vent my idioticy. reason i feel for it. it sounding like a good deal but the moment he/I clicked accept the helm changed to a skirt almost lightspeed. :shock:

 

 

 

Well the lightspeed thing is people can hook up a second mouse with another port PS2 or USB and click both at same time prly helm 1 a second earlier which makes the trade alot trickier and the swap fast or in world 2 it lags so the animation is slow and won't show every detail.

I believe how it works is people look at the second trade screen and see the word "Veracs" four times, and thus assume its full Verac. Just remember never to assume though.

Someone tried the black skirt scam on me. It's rather annoying because you can't really notice the difference when they are noted, so thank god for 2nd trade screens.

Yes, I am always leery of people with bizarre, gibberish names as well as lower levels. If I see a level 60 with a name like 0 0 00o0o 0 or lillilillil selling something, I can almost assume he is scamming.

 

Me too, so when I bought full guthan and someone like that tried to sell it to me, I checked the second screen 5 times. The weird thing was, he wasn't even scamming!

I dont care if Im only spending 3k, I trade slowly to make sure I get what I wanted (not too slow mind you, but I actually read stuff fully)
