Dexek
I am guessing this is for F2P, since your last topic was F2P. Dark Wizards - Located at Varrock South Gate ~ The dark wizards drop a variety of all runes. They also drop elemental talismans on F2P, and a few pieces of clothing, coins, and bones. The dark wizards use magic based attacks, so it is best not to wear melee armour, but rather dragonhide, robes, or no armour at all. The closest bank(s) are East and West Varrock banks. Moss Giants - Located at Crandor, and Varrock Sewers ~ The moss giants also drop a variety of runes. These runes do not include water, or fire runes though. I believe all other F2P runes are included. There are also pieces or armour that can be high alched, uncut gems, coins, and big bones. The big bones can be sold for about 400gp each, but there are no nearby banks to the moss giants on F2P. Ice Giants - Located in the Ice Caves ~ The ice giants drop a few types of runes, arrows, and armour. These runes do include water and chaos runes. The ice giants much like the moss giants drop armour that can be high alched, uncut gems, coins, and big bones which can be sold. There are no nearby banks to ice giants. Ankou - Located on the bottom floor in the SoS (Stronghold of Security) ~ Ankou are some of the strongest monsters on F2P. The lowest level of the ankou is 76. Ankou drop death runes, law runes, addy arrows, noted mithril ore, uncut gems, coins, and bones on F2P. Ankou hit a maximum of about 8 damage. The closest bank is the Edgeville Bank. Hill Giants - Located in the Edgeville Dungeon ~ Hill Giants are among the most popular of monsters to train on in F2P. They drop a variety of runes, arrows, armour, and also big bones, and limpwurt roots which can be sold for a tidy sum. The fastest way to the Hill Giants is by use of a brass key to enter a small house West of the Cooking Guild. The closest bank is Varrock West Bank. These are probably the most appropriate for you to train on. wioneo
Harpie bugs(require 35ish slayer) drop aover 1000 fires per 100+ assignment, a good number of chaos, and a bad number of deaths(0-10). Basilisks, which are 42 slayer(I think) drop a lot of waters and herbs. They have pretty high hp and average defence, but they will almost never hit you. The bird lizard things that drop limps are more dangerous. Desert lizards, probably 15 or so slayer req, also drop a lot of fires, but they're in the desert. Cave bugs or crawlers(I forget), drop a lot of earths and herbs. I can't think of anything else at the moment... Just take a fally tele, a weapon, and a bit of food. d-hide armor if you want.
Zou_Lou
thank u al for the info, actually my main is ht eone i think id be farming the items with , and is a member atm If you are a member and you are not too much in a rush to get your death runes, do Gertrude's Quest, start Plague City to gain access to Ardougne west and raise kittens non stop to sell them to the citizens. Not the fastest way to get death runes, but by far the cheapest (it will cost you 100 coins and a few fishes for 100 death). Greetings, Zou Lou. Retired from RuinedScape 12/15/07. davidium
if you feel confident the moss gaints in wildy are not bad as there are a couple of chaos rune respawn around them and they drop chaos too...i think :P jus beware of pkers...a bit risky ill have to admit maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cookinglife may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it
Mamong
Not really a good idea, get a good number, get pked and you've lost your effort. I'd have to agree with others, Harpies are great. I've been there when I get them assigned. Good number of chaos and fires and I seem to get clues off them often. Ankous are also great, and since you said your a member, you will get blood runes as well, which are an added bonus. Barrows is great, but if you solely want death and chaos and you don't have the equipment/levels, it isn't really worth it.
