Featured Replies

hi tippers,

im wondering what's your favorite subject at school? and why?

I have no favorite subject. If the teacher is good, I like it, if the teacher is bad, I don't like it. Last year, my history teacher was awesome so I loved history, this year, the teacher I had was very boring, and obviously I didn't like history. But.. My first history teacher did make me love history, something this year's teacher can't undo, even with boring classes.

Maybe the subject doesn't matter that much, but all we need is someone that is able to make us love that subject. So virtually, we are capable of loving all subjects. Because loving or hating a subject is defined by our experiences, if we get good experiences wtih all subjects, we will like them, regardless if we are gifted or not at them. ;)

Home Economics.... I like cooking >.>

I dont need a siggy no moar.

P.E - I love sports and this is the only lesson where I can really talk to my friends. Then again, it' about the teacher too. I've had the same PE teacher for 2 years and she's just nasty *shudders*

Ultra Unholy,

Hearted Machine...

Is lunch break a subject ?

Some people dream of success, while others make it happen.

I like history, I can't really say why but I enjoy it very much. Each day it relieves more info and its a gateway to the future.

O and I like school all in general though, I'm smart and I have friends, what more can you ask for in school? O and I'm going into my 1st year of high school so I have no clue what high school is like.

but everything is ok with me accept for foreign language *cringe*

I find PE the best subject. I'm real atheletic, I can talk to friends, my PE teachers always are cool, and I always get in A in there. :D

Ahh, I have a tough time with that. In high school, it would change a lot every year, depending on which teachers were great and which ones weren't - still, consistently, I really enjoyed math (which is good, since I'm now majoring in it!) and English (once we moved beyond summarizing and started really analyzing literature and looking at historical context) and biology and history. I also found that subjects tended to get more and more interesting as I got older and teachers trusted us with more interesting and challenging analysis :D

Everybody hug and spread the love :D

Math. A TA can't look at a math paper and say "wow, this is the best math paper I have ever seen... 80%", like they can for pretty much any other subject. It's objective.

Architecture was a great class, the teacher played a random movie every friday, played music everyday, and I enjoy the subject anyways.

Isn't it lovely how having an opinion makes you hated around here?

music tech, cos it's the only one I take ;)

Maths & Business Studies.

A friend to all is a friend to none.

Computers and language arts. I'm usually A or A+ in language arts. Computers was fun last year, we had typing class. I had an average of 130 WPM and like 95% accuracy...except I didn't type like they taught, so I got yelled at frequently.

I really wouldn't call it an era. It was more of a definitive time period during which dinstinctive characteristics were expressed in similar ways.

I'm sorta the same way (on the Computer parts, not the language stuff *cringe again*) I can type really fast but not in the proper way

I used to like sport the best but not because I was sporty but because it made it easier for me to analyse people

You can tell a lot about a person by how they play a game. I used to decide who I wanted to be friends with based upon their attitude during sporting events.

The only people who tell you that you can't do something are those who have already given up on their own dreams so feel the need to discourage yours.

History is my fav....

Dismissal. :XD: Sorry, but I just generally hate school. I go, I do what I have to get done, then I leave.
