Burning willows to 99 firemaking.. crazy?

It's possible but very slow. Maybe it's better to burn willows till 80 firemaking and then yews, if you can afford it.
Maples would be a better choice. They're more experience then willows buy cost a lot less then yews.

why not just cut and burn the logs you cut down? Why both spending any money at all? I mean really, you'd also get the extra exp, so do what you wanna do, though it'll take you a while, and you'll be bored out of you ever-loving mind , i'm sure, you'll get there eventually.

Yes it is -.-. I did willows to 91 then maples to 99, you can switch off at any time I suppose, just know its very hard to switch back once you've tastes the exp a maple gives. =P~

Slow? It's superfast compared other skills, like runecrafting and slayer. 100k exp/h by willow is cheap and fast, why is it grazy?

I know, after I started to use yews. :D

It's easy to get with Willow logs, You just need to be patient. ::'

I would like to get the most difficult 99 in the game to accomplish. which is woodcutting.
because I had a drunken night in philadelphia and sprayed a fire extinguiser, evacuated a 7 story hotel on the philly stadium, spent the night in jail.. then got on level 2 prob & have to pay 50 a month because I have a job. It's their way of collecting more money out of me.

If you cut and burn, maples on the way to rellekka give faster overall xp (both wc and firemaking) than willows because of the additional burning time per xp - chop an invent, burn an invent etc

Il do willows at lumby till 80 or so, Then switch to maples.

Yews on the other hand..... wish I could but not anaf money :XD:

It would cost me around 4mil to buy all the willows

and around 7m for all the maples..... not that much of a difference :uhh:

well maples are 56.1 ea if u do mtk so 56gp/135 exp = .4 gp per experience point.

willows: 30gp/90exp= .33(infinite)gp per exp. maples are so much faster than willows so its worth it. if u wanna save money with willows i wish you good luck

well you about 3k exp per willow burning load session, fast to cut and cheap in the stores. It's definately budget friendly... another thing most of you haven't thought of ( i bet) is that closed area you get in with 100 sticks where is small bunch of mohoghany and teak trees .. both are better than willows i think and cut fast:)
