Okay guys i need some advice here, quickly would be nice

 

 

 

this is concerning the random event of the mysterious old man, the game called "odd one out" now my question here is when you get to choose you're prize out of "Mystery Prize" and "1000 Coins" which is more effective i recently did 1000 coins can someone maybe give me a good view on this?

 

 

 

Is the mystery prize more worth then 1000 coins? should i be clicking mystery prize then 1000 coins? please someone help me if you don't understand ill try to rephrase thank you

Since 1k coins is not that much, it really doesn't matter. However, from personal experience, i think they are almost identical. The mysterious box gives the 4 non-member gems, half keys, and random [cabbage] like cabbage or steel plates, etc.

It really just depends on your luck. I got 160gp from the mysterious prize :lol:

It's almost always random junk, as 500gp, a couple of air runes, but I always pick the mystery box for the chance of getting something rarer.

Oooh like a bronze pickaxe? LOL. Well i always pick 1k because the mystery box is always junk like an uncut sapphire and 100 gp or some crap like that .

from what i have read, i think the best choice is 1k since its not luck and its constant thanks guys for that. one thing is there a chance of getting more then 1k in a prize, either as items or in cash?

Mystery Box is truly random. I got a rune mace from it

Pick the mystery box. i always do, even though I get stuff like fliers, but i have gotten 500gp before...not much, but something better than fliers lol.

I would pick the mystery box, however, I've been busted 3 times. :P (2 Bob's Axes Flier and 1 Bucket) Other times, I got a diamond which makes up for the 1k. The reward from the mystery box is totally random, but 1k isn't too much of a loss.

Last five boxes I opened:

 

 

 

Steel platebody - alched for 1,200 GP anyways. :)

 

Mithril scimitar - Woo. :P

 

Diamond - Woo. :P

 

Casket - Got a half key.

 

Cabbage - :lol:

 

 

 

So it's not a huge loss if you don't pick the 1K and end up with a cabbage.

Well I think it depends on how rich you are, I'm freakishly rich so I don't care if I get 1k or not so I always pick mystery box, just hoping for some luck. If your a more conservative player or just one with less cash pick the 1k. :mrgreen:

i always pick mystery box because 1k is not alot

its up to you wat you choose but i all times choose box, i am getting lots of diamond of them, but sometimes i get stuff like "old boot" -.-

I always get steel plates or diamonds from the mysterious box :)

I usually got junk but I got teeth-half key a few times.

I always pick the box, I might get a cabbage!

okay, ive made my mind up thank you for the quick response. I will now always choose the mystery box, since i chose it recently and got a steel plate but i don't mind i love chance and love the surprises.

if im low on cash i take 1k when not i take box, ive got these items:

 

- 74 Cabbages

 

- 4 Rubies (uncut)

 

- 500gp

 

- Mithril bar

Yeah i would choose the 1k each time as well you have a better chance of getting better prize with 1k.

 

 

 

I hate those cabbages... Got them from this event 17 times in a row...

 

So now i only take the 1k.
