Robbers....

Hello,

I have recently just found out that my sister's Fionce's car got smashed down, and items had been stolen from it. I Think These Roobbers are insanse-.-

I've had other robbery/alike cases such as:

1) Once we first came to Canada, from the time 1996-2001, we had our horrible, i mean horrible car, it was like a dodge 1989 that if you went higher then 60 km it would probably explode!-> Stolen 4-5 times

2) From 1996-2002, Our Dodge 1996 Van(Horrible) was stolen about 3-4 times.

*Funny thing is we had the car returned every time, the robbers always were catched:P

3) My dad once working had his shop was sort of..forced by a "normal person" to show him something, downstairs in the basement my dad said ok quick, then he heard footsteps upstairs, he knew they were robbers but he didn't care he just let them take watever without harm, so he just talked along with the guy that wanted to see something

4) We had a metalish/steelish statue on our front lawn, and it was smashed on our car once after waking up and seeing that. Most likely a drunk person-.-

5) My mom loves to grow plants/etc, so she had these " Duckie pots " that had a flower in it, and someone stole it, they probably cost no more $10 I find it recdicuilious..

That's all the robberies i can remember taht have happened to my family/related. Have you guys ever been dealt with robbers? What Happened? What did they steal?

Thanks for reading!

Martin

When we lived in town, we would get everything we ever left outside stolen. After we moved out of town, we haven't had much of a problem with thieves, rather vandals tearing up things in our yard, and driving their trucks through our yard. Someone even shot one of our dogs while it was in our own back yard, killing it. :(

My mates Mazda Familia GTR got stolen a few months back, very bad set of circumstances too. A few weeks prior his girlfriend spilt coke on the immobilizer remote, rendering it useless. He hadn't got round to fixing it, and he was a few weeks out on his insurance payments; bye-bye $9,500.

My mums car got broken into up north in Whangerei about 10+ years ago, her purse got stolen (don't know why she left it in there, she rarely leaves it in the car) but the next door neighbour found the purse on his front lawn and returned it the next morning.

My Uncle and Aunt live on a farm out in the wop wops. The house is never locked up and we leave our keys in the car. You'd have to be a nutter to theiv from a farm though. The farm dogs start barking like mad at the first sign of people, and farmers usually tend to have guns, lots of guns.

And some1 said if we've thot to move. I live in a city beside Toronto, it's really great, i mean you don't see crimes/whatever else during the day, its all at night it's like a crimezone at night, but when your acutally awake it's all cool.

Some Lebs at the train station were talking about rolling me on my way home.

From fighter practice.

I had a borrowed broadsword on me. I couldn't put it in a bag.

Yeah, I got home alright. I think they decided not to.

Stupid as they may be, most people will actually have second thoughts about trying to rob someone in a long black coat carrying three feet of sharp steel half an hour before midnight.

Not wanting to be brought in on assault, attempted murder or murder charges, though, I wouldn't actually have used it. They didn't know that. I would actually hate to use it on a living person, because that gets incredibly messy, and the bloke who lent it to me would have made me clean and polish the bloody thing.

As for cars, anyone who wants to steal mine is welcome to. The insurance costs more than the damn thing as it is.

My mates house got broken into...when we were in it

Me, My friend whose house it was and a couple of our mates were all round at this guys house for his birthday. He had invited us over as his parents were away for the weekend and his next door neighbour was checking up on us every half hour-forty five minutes to make sure we were all right. We were sitting around his living room with some music on, playing his xbox...then when the cd finished i went to the toilet next to his kitchen and heard a smashing and tinkling of glass. :ohnoes: Without thinking i grabbed the heaviest thing at the time, which happened to be a pretty hefty bottle of wine  and ran into the kitchen shouting on my friends to come...they all came running through and i was standing there with a bottle of wine and the kitchen window was shattered. i told them what happened and the neighbour, who had heard the noise and saw two men running off down the street, came in and said the police were on their way.

This just shows that criminals aint smart :XD:

When we lived in Latvia when I was younger, we had two cars stolen (all pretty nice cars) we ended up just buying a bad car so no one would be tempted to steal it. Only our audi was never stolen, don't know why, it was just a lucky car. We still ended up parking our car in a high security garage because we just didn't want to take the chance anymore.

Also my mom's wallet got stolen one time from our apartment, kinda scary.

But thats Latvia for you lol.

I encountered a thief whilst on holiday abroad. I'd been out clubbing and on the way back to the apartments I'd taken my stillies off because my feet were killing me after all the dancing. Therefore I was being very careful as to where I stepped. There were reps trying to get us back into the clubs and bars, so we didn't really think anything of it when two guys started chatting to us. As I was walking along I needed to step off the pavement to avoid something. I took a step backwards and as I did so I noticed that one of the guys had his hands in my friend's handbag. I'm only 5ft tall and this bloke was at least 6ft so I wasn't in the best of positions for fighting him off. But I had a huge rush of adrenaline so I attacked him with my stilettos. :D

ethebloody"]This is why I always carry a dagger around with me, no-one ever beats me up

You might carry a dagger but if you pull that (even in self-defence) on somebody who really knows what they're doing it's going to end up between your cheeks.

It's all good and well to carry but if you pull it during a confrontation you better be prepared either for a little prison time or a trip to the hospital.

yea crazy stuff lol. I don't know how bad it is now actually, with the economy getting better (who knows for how long). I've been there 2 years ago, but when we went out at night it was in safe places. you know if its just as bad still?
