Good white hip-hop?

I have a question, why does it have to be white rap particularly? What difference does it make what colour the rapper is?

And the fact if I were to listen to black rap (and I do, just some situations don't suit) driving through Otara, pumping out "N***** this, [garden tools] my N***** what yeah N***** N*****" you get the picture. And I had better be driving something FAST.

If you want a good Beastie Boys album and something to 'chill' with, go for Paul's Boutique. More sample work, less guitar. Excellent album, and my favorite by them.

mmmm.. the classic B Boys funs debate, "Paul's Boutique", "Check Your Head" or "Ill Communication", which is the best?

"Paul's Boutique" is an amazing album but for me it will always be "Check your head" - exploding ingenuity

Shabak S'

You'll have a small problem with the weird language they speak :D

this track is from their "we wanna be the israeli beasty boys" days.

They improved since then (and also broke apart)

Edit: Found a better track - one of their best

I dont see how skin color matters all that much. In all honesty all races of hiphop use the same methods. Scratching is not just a white thing. Anyways i would suggest.

You would probably like them even though they are not white. It that kind of rap where you can sit back and relax while you listen to it. Don't Sweat the Technique and I know You Got Soul are some of my personal favorites. Along with Paid in Full.

I can't believe noone's mentioned Sage Francis yet - his album is an absolute masterpiece.

Beautiful stuff, he's a poet turned rapper and his album's one of those "doesnt fit into a genre because it's so unique" kind of things.
