Nearly every pker I have met while abyss crafting has been decent-mannered. They do not go beserk when I get away, nor do they start cussing at me when I use the skeleton trick on them. They are mature, understanding people who just want to pk. You're mixing them up with RSOF ranters.

 

 

 

In response to this thread: If you have a one-click teleport and a good magic defense bonus you're basically invinsible. If you get teleblocked you just run to the mage, if you get snared you just teleport away. If you get iced, you teleport away. If you get ddsed you usually just run to the mage, sometimes teleport. There are also many other strategies you can use, like using the skeletons for protection. I've crafted hundreds of natures and have only died once. Take advise from kickbuta also.

 

 

 

I do not think encouraging people to kill rc pkers will work. You can continue this thread, but if you really think about it they will just come back and eventually people will get bored of the idea. You cannot and will never be able to completely eliminate rc pking. A runecrafter should accept that he/she is entering the wilderness and expect pkers to try to kill them.

 

 

 

Rc pkers barely affect the nature market. Sure most of them use natures to train magic, but honestly not everyone who uses natures to train magic will pk.

 

 

 

Not entirely, I have seen a few call me an "rcer nub" (like that's going to do anything lol) and stuff like that, one even went next to me in the bank yesterday and called me a "tele nerd". You are right that most of them aren't like that though.

I dont think nats would be any lower price wise... Anybody whos half prepared wont die to a rc pker, and heres why.

 

 

 

If they start with a teleblock, you then half enough time to make it to the mage and your safe.

 

If they start with a bind, you click you housetab/ecto/whatever else and your safe.

 

 

 

Thus, they cant kill you, unless they special you and somehow hit 40-40 or what ever... but that never happens.

You forgot about one major aspect, the fact that lag always seems to start when you get entangled is why entangle followed by tb will work sometimes.

 

 

 

I see no point in retaliation, some waste of time which is better utilised for 2 more runs to the altar for additional 1k exp. Any pker skilled enough to kill me yet so far well deserves my glory (not any typical tber you find out there). I suck at pking.

I like the idea but i suggest you try find someone your lvl cb.

 

Im a horribel pker, I was never able to pk someone. But i have a friend with the same cb also a rcer.

 

He's on normal magic and im on ancient. He tbs the pker and 1 items with dds then he ussually dies and I finish the pker with ancients :D

 

 

 

Dont forget me! Running in wild with only a dds and a banana :D

My goal isn't to rid the world of Abyss pkers, I know one of the main reason Jagex placed the Abyss in the wild was for that danger. I just get annoyed with it when almost all of them that I've met have been cowards themselves.

 

 

 

My goal is to just knock a blow to them and have some fun doing so. And getting some nice runes from killing ancient mages is always a bonus I look forward to. :D

Its hard to fight back at my level, 58 combat, because they are all pures so they have much more of an advantage...i just world switch if pkers come.

Why get friends when I can do it myself and reap the rewards, or get others to do it and protect other runecrafters? :D

honestly who cares about abyssal pkers? its part of the game for a reason. Jagex wouldnt have put the abyss teleport in the wild if a few unlucky people werent meant to die from pkers :|

the only time i ever rc pked a level 75 attacked me with nothing on, not even a weapon, and no food. needless to say, i whipped out a ddp++ and speced him, got two 15-15 hits which is my max with the dragon dagger, and he died. before he respawned he proceeded to calling me a noob.

Just use a tele-tab to your house; then use the glory ( in your house) to go to edge. You don't need to recharge your glorys, and you have absolutely nothing to lose. You can make easily 700 tele-tabs an hour, with your own house in rimington, mining the clay with a clay bracelet. Even if you don't have 67 construction to make the lecturn, from yannile to the bank doesn't take long, you can make about 900 an hour, and mine 700 clay an hour, using someone else's house.

I hate rc pkers. Some tips I use that might help some people out. First of all, hold the down arrow key until you can see as far as possible. This way you can clikc teleport from afar without struggling. Secondly, off to the side of edge is a little bridge on the other side of the crater, i use that most of the time to avoid the pkers and it adds little extra time. Happy rc'ing! \

Because of the improvement among fellow runecrafters at avoiding 'mage' aybss pkers, by wearing mage resistant cheap armour, the aybss pkers need to wear more mage boosting armour! :lol: =P~ wooo full mystic...............Ahrims!!!! :shock:

 

A lot of the pkers wear ahrims, well the ones i have come across, why not, with the newly upgraded rune x'bows and god darn powerful diamond tipped, enchanted dragon bolts, go get ahrims!!!
