No, this is not a rant nor a suggestion. This is an idea I thought of while killing a pker who tried to kill me while using the Abyss and I want to share and discuss with the Tip It Community.

Anyway, if you are using the Abyss and notice a bunch of pkers around or are bored, just turn the tables on the Abyss pkers. Put on some pking armor and pose as an Abyss pker, then when one of the pkers shows that they are indeed after out runecrafting breathen, ATTACK!

 

 

 

Doing this and promoting it with more runecrafters has the potential of creating a feeling of distrust between all Abyss pkers and could possibly lower the numbers in the long run. I doubt such an idea could get widespread, but one can hope. Also, my goal is not to complete eliminate Abyss pking. Not only is that impossible, but Jagex put the Abyss entrance in the wild for a reason. I just don't like how many of them there are.

 

 

 

If you don't have acess to ancient magicks or don't have them on, the Bind, Snare, and Entangle modern mage spells work well too. This is one of the most interesting ways to pk, as town is very nearby and the pkers almost always run. I suggest having a ring of life and/or other means of teleporting (teleports are just a tactic, not "noob-ness") out in case they freeze you and you're about to die.

 

 

 

And btw, the best way to get on their nerves is to seercul spec them and run into the abyss :P.

 

That right there is a great idea. If I had a Seercull, the fun I would have with that. =P

 

 

 

One last thing. I know to the prepared Abyss user, pkers are harmless and only mildly annoying. But, they still annoy the heck out of me and I want to strike back for fun, good drops, and to protect others who are not so prepared!

I'm an awful pker too, the only time I've killing another player is doing this. And I've had pkers try a few times to kill me. I like breaking their spirit by coming around and beating them up for awhile. :D

 

 

 

I actually completely broke one of their pking spirits and had him attack other pkers while others runecrafted. :D

i dont carry a glory so if they pk me then they will be anyoed and if they dont kill me then thell be like arrgh he got away (i have never died rcing) as most pkers leave me alone - and i pk them back :twisted:

People always get flamed for teleporting. That's just how pking works. I was just saying that it's okay to teleport, no shame in admitting defeat and retreating to fight another day.

99.999% of pkers will flame you for any reason that makes you harder to kill or if you dont put up a decent figth eg: u stand there and let them waste there runs/spec on you - "ownd noob" - you use prayer so you can win "prayer noob" you take prayer off not wanting to be a noob then they win and ur "ownd noob!!!11111!!!!!11!" you tele "teletubby" you eat frm 10hp to about 8hp below full "safer" or "food noob" the best thing to do is ignor them turn chat off and keep pm on friends or my favorate dont pk ....... i rlly wish i was around in rsc wen pking was nice and ppl wernt 11yearold chavs ....

Im a horribel pker, I was never able to pk someone. But i have a friend with the same cb also a rcer.

 

He's on normal magic and im on ancient. He tbs the pker and 1 items with dds then he ussually dies and I finish the pker with ancients :D

I always go to the bank and pull out a range pot and food... it really gets on my nerves when they run, such cowards. I killed a rc pker and i ate he called me a "fooder"... WTF?!

It's fun to thrash those nooby pkers around a bit :]

 

I like to bring a bow, shoot them, then run into abyss, rinse and repeat. Then when Im stuck, tele out :D

I've never been rc pked, maybe it's because I haven't done it much (only 62 rc.) But when I did RC a lot and people would try to pk me, I'd just make it to the abyss the first time and then super pot and come back (in the same gear) and then when he's attacking me, I throw on my prayers, dds, defender and some sort of helmet for fighting and ko them :D So far, I'm 5-0 against rc pkers I think.

I'm proud of safing and using prayer! I'm not going to lose Full Ahrims and 2k ice bursts because someone called me a safer or prayer noob. It's a way to win so why have 56 prayer if your not going to use it :P

I dont think nats would be any lower price wise... Anybody whos half prepared wont die to a rc pker, and heres why.

 

 

 

If they start with a teleblock, you then half enough time to make it to the mage and your safe.

 

If they start with a bind, you click you housetab/ecto/whatever else and your safe.

 

 

 

Thus, they cant kill you, unless they special you and somehow hit 40-40 or what ever... but that never happens.

Nat prices have barely changed since rsc, i doubt much will change them now, there is always more demand for nats then supply and always will be.

 

What do you think comes into the game more?

 

armour worth over 600gp+ yew long bows +mage long bows + weapons worth over 600gp+ jewelery worth over 600 gp + anything else worht alching..

When I was rcing I always came back and sought revenge against rc pkers that attacked me. I have yet to get killed while rcing. I just grab dds and mage short and take them on. They just run away and flame me for being a range noob, while they far cast with ancients :roll: , which cant escape my bow \

 

 

 

It is even better when you get pjed, 1 banks, other fights, then the other one banks and then the 1 fights again, while you are still on 1 invent. Then you get flamed for running to bank....after whooping both of them down :XD:

I just killed a guy using some ice spell on me. He didn't drop much, but I did waste all the money and/or time he used to get his food and runes. And that in itself is a satisfactory victory to me. :D

Where exactly do you get your information? That's entirely incorrect.

 

 

 

Nearly every pker I have met while abyss crafting has been decent-mannered. They do not go beserk when I get away, nor do they start cussing at me when I use the skeleton trick on them. They are mature, understanding people who just want to pk. You're mixing them up with RSOF ranters.

 

 

 

In response to this thread: If you have a one-click teleport and a good magic defense bonus you're basically invinsible. If you get teleblocked you just run to the mage, if you get snared you just teleport away. If you get iced, you teleport away. If you get ddsed you usually just run to the mage, sometimes teleport. There are also many other strategies you can use, like using the skeletons for protection. I've crafted hundreds of natures and have only died once. Take advise from kickbuta also.

 

 

 

I do not think encouraging people to kill rc pkers will work. You can continue this thread, but if you really think about it they will just come back and eventually people will get bored of the idea. You cannot and will never be able to completely eliminate rc pking. A runecrafter should accept that he/she is entering the wilderness and expect pkers to try to kill them.

 

 

 

Rc pkers barely affect the nature market. Sure most of them use natures to train magic, but honestly not everyone who uses natures to train magic will pk.
