Well pokemon is more adventurous than Runescape, plus its more of a challenge. The introduction of multiple types ensured that. Marshtomp and Swampert for example, water types. However they are also a ground type which makes it harder to defeat the way you used to be able to take care of water types. Honestly i never play my Ps2, because i would rather read comic books, which i never have the time to do,like the civil war(is that the name), so i dont see any thing wrong with pokemon.
