Holy mother of all that is holy this game is f***ing beautiful.

The music, graphics, sounds... everything. I've already killed a couple of big daddies  and I feel damn evil about it. Hah, I sucked the life out of those girls.

But seriously, this game is simply amazing -- quite easily a contender for best game of the year.

Average rating of 97% so far for PC... incredible.

I installed fine, and played for about 2 hours worth without problems (at low graphics of course) and then i got to neptunes bounty. Now each time i go to load the game, i get a BSOD error, and something about my graphics card..... Looks like im waiting till i can get a new graphics card.

Are you people harvesting or saving little sisters, and what difficulty?

Bioshock looks like one sexy beast of game. Should I get Halo 3 or Bioshock for my 360, granted I can only get either?

Get bioshock, there are 2 other halo games that halo 3 is going to be almost exactly like, bioshock is a one of a kind game.

Give it back and buy a 360 and the 360 version of the game :ohnoes:

I played the demo and loved it. One thing that I couldn't figure out was why on my real resolution, 1440x900, the cursor would fly all over the place and was hard to control. I changed it to a lower resolution and it was easier, but does anyone know anything about that?

Bioshock doesn't support real widescreen?

I cant give it back.... I'll just end up getting a new graphics card. Apparently mine has this problem often with high end games.

I don't know if that's the cause of Adam's problem, but it has that problem

This is possibly the greatest console game that I've ever played. I spent all of yesterday after school and most of today beating it. The story line is a little flat in the beginning but once you hit Ryan's office the story just takes one of those "Saw" like twists that just made me go "wtf?!?!?! I was so not expecting that!!" and the game just gets freaking awesome from that point all the way to the ending.

This is the best story line i've ever seen in a video game for sure.

I'd highly recommend this to anybody, its an amazing game.

Yes, thats one thing that's pissing me off. I just got a 19in widescreen for some awesome gaming and now widescreen on Bioshock is worse than normal screen. I was going to buy the game today and now I'm waiting till they fix this ****.

Another thing I read is that you can only install this game twice. After that you need to buy a new copy. So don't reformat your computer more than once or it will cost you $50. There may be a way around this in the future.

Anyway, I played the demo and I thought it was amazing. Running on high settings makes it even better. The widescreen support still pisses me off.

Just a tip for people with ATI graphics cards is that there is a hotfix on AMD's website that fixes bugs in the game and improves preformance.

If it beats KOTOR, it has to be something.

But I already reserved Halo 3, so it's either this or Mass Effect...Argh, which one?

Life is a joke. Yeah, I don't get it either.

Blade there is an FOV hack floating around the web for bioshock, I'm using it and it looks amazing. check out the widescreen gamer forums.

:? You will be able to run this no problem Nad, with all high settings.

The game is all dependent on your video card. I got a 2.0ghz processor and 1gb of ram, and the game runs fine, i just cant have the graphics high. Even with graphics on high, and besides the lag, I dont even get near what i should. What a crappy graphics card i have :(

I have dual 3.2ghz processors and 2gb of ram, with a 256mb graphics card. Do you think I can run it on fairly high settings?

Yes.

I'm using a dual 1.8ghz intel 2 duo core, 2gb ram, 7900GS (256mb) and am running it on all high. I'll have a lag [bleep]e here or then though because I don't have a 512mb card).

Ive been looking at some videos online, all I can say is the game looks amazing. I just wonder how high I can do the settings with my computer, I would think about medium. I only have 1GB RAM, Nvidia 7900GTX 512mb, but its a laptop, which Im a little worried about.

Depending on the processor you could probably run it at least mediums, the gig of ram is the big killer.

I've seen the videos, the game looks amazing. Sadly, only one of my 3 computers is able to run it on high detail.

OR you could get a job! :XD: :XD: :XD:

I played through about half of KOTOR so I'm not sure how it will compare but of the games I've played its got the best story line of them all.

Yes.

That's great. I guess I will download it now.
