ok ima at lessers, a lvl 101 comes up to me and says, sunmann99 and (this person next to me) leave!... i just stay there and he says i dont want noobs like u going up and down stealing all of these! i said i would stay here and take this lesser. he then siad his friend was a mod and he was coming. he said if i didnt leave(along with the other guy) he would mute us........ um wth? :? :? :? first off, i thought mods were so nice, i met a few, and second they cant do ne thing unless your doing something bad... right? :? :? :?

What you should do: If you do get muted, which i highly doubt, you should report the guy who was telling you to leave and send a letter to jagex explaining what happened. Then the Mod will be stripped of his title, and the noob will be banned. Everyones happy :D

we'll P mods cant actually mute you, but they report you to Jagex and it gets looked at right away, so say if i report someone jagex might not look at it for a few days a P mod does it goods looked at withen minutes and they do more to the people p mods report :)

A player mod can mute a person when reporting them, but they must have a reason for reporting you. Since you were not doing anything against the rules, the pmod would get in trouble for mutting you.

Ignore them completely and I would eve add them to my ignore list. I have lost track of how many people try that with me, no mod would or could mute a player for doing nothing wrong and if they did they would be demodded if you report them for it, so no worries 8-)

gosh i got muted once coz a noob came over to hill giants at taverly (members area) and he was threatening me with his friend mod, so i asked him to stfu which was a huge mistake, he told his friend and i got reported when i was actually acting cool so i dont fall for this guys rubbish. if an idiot comes and tries to provoke you, just ignore him by either adding him to ignore list (easy way) or ignoring the chat screen irl (abit harder to do) :cry: :lol:

the obvious solution would be to threaten him with your level 126 pmod friend who can pk outside of the wilderness

abbreviations like stfu are not a mutable offence, if you got muted for that they would have send you an appology and unmuted you.

Beleive me , i did get muted, i really think he did it because i provoked him by stealin his giants :lol: :lol: anyway i got a 3 day mute, but on the second day i got an apology by mod ash or some other mod :D .
