stopspe
You cannot own this game, even with 99 in every skill and 247 qp(is that max now?). Unless you have 99 in all skils, 247 qp, 2mil xp in all stats, and 2.1bil of all items in the game, then you have something that you can do, you can own the game if you have done ALL the previous Mizzou is ballin'!Illini are fallin'!Kansas is dead. RoswellCrash
The people that are "famous" for something like PK'ing it isn't based on luck at all rather they have perfected something that allows the to win more, kind of a skill so yeah with what they mean when they say they own they do. Luck isn't something that favours someone, as the people of RS that own they own for a reason and its not luck just admit they are good at what ever it is they do. So it possible to "own" at PK'ing therefore they own at PK'ing in RuneScape but to own RuneScape entirely I don't think It has been achieved yet  So I am saying you can own at an aspect of RuneScape but not entirely at RuneScape. - Twitter | RuneScape FB Group | My PC
MidnightHarvester
Roswell hit the nail on the head. Sure the game is about the grind, about patience and maybe a lucky day here or there...but there are small nuances you pick up on the more you experience the full world and the more you play. Small nuances that allow you to take advantage of a situation in a better light then someone else less experienced...lord I should not have said that. Jagex might read this and notice that those who have played the game longer might have an unfair advantage and ban them... =D> I couldn't agree with Roswell anymore. flying_death_bombs55
in rsc it was possible bluerose13x literally owned runescape oldies know what im talkin about Anyone with little knowledge of RSC knows what you're talking about. Not me, please explain. (I have played rsc) When you mentioned the Dragon Plates I had a sudden vision of a load of gangsters running around in fancy dress yealling "Grim Reaper in da hood!" Ss_J9_Goten
Bluerose13x was the first person to 99 smithing I believe, which in RSC was equivalent to Zezima now. And I believe the only way to get a Rune 2 Hander (and possibly kite, I'm not sure) was to smith it - meaning only Bluerose13x and her close friends (for a time, anyway) had access to the most hallowed weapon in the game. She could also, to a certain extent, control some of the harder to get rune items (i.e. monster drops, e.g. Rune Large from Greaters).
calum12
i sometimes think to myself if someone were to get 200m xp in every skill as they came out, do all quests as they came out and get the max amount of money (2KBILL OR SOMETHING?) in every currency and fill one's bank with rares, could that be called 'completing' Runescape? Hmmm.... I need a new siggy, get round to doing it later. Probably.
qeltar
This whole concept strikes me as spurious. RuneScape is a game. Are you having fun playing it? Then you "own". Are you spending your energy worrying about getting rich or how many skill capes you have compared to your friends or whatever? Then you lose. ~q Qeltar, aka Charles KozierokWebmaster, RuneScoop - Premium RuneScape Information for Expert Players -- Now Free!Featuring the Ultimate Guide to Dungeoneering -- everything you need to know to get the most of the new skill! That is the way to control the market
MrBowser
It's intellectual property... Of course you can't own anything except the knowledge you gain from playing rs :P That's what it takes to be a hero, a little gemof innocence inside of you that makes you wantto believe that there still exists a right and wrong, that decency will somehow triumph in the end.--Lise Hand
