Able to gain doubles of random event clothing

Featured Replies

As you currently know, we are not allowed to gain more than one of certain random event clothing such as mime, lederhosen or zombie items. We instead get 500 coins after completing the random event after gaining all the items (and emotes if possible).

This suggestion is so that instead of getting 500 coins which in most cases doesn't help anyone, we get another item from the random event as if we were doing it for the first time. This could help people who want to keep an organised bank and still want to wear their random event clothing without the use of a costume room.

As some people want the 500gp i am suggesting that it is optional whether you get an item or the 500gp reward after getting all the items and emotes from a particular random event.

It's a nice idea that wouldn't require very much work for Jagex to do. They should really add it to the game.

I actually do have two sets of zombie

Were you wearing full zombie while burying bones and when you got the random you just dropped your clothes or something?

I engineered this thread with precise variables that I know would cause lul-worthy flames.

There was a glitch when Costume Rooms came out that if you had random event clothing in your Costume Room and you got the random again, you would get clothes again because it would think you didn't have any. Lots of people got extra pieces of clothing (not me <.< )

I agree, completely. I would have about 3 sets of mime banked by now. I support.

I support...free wildy clothes that you know you will probably get back at some point

That just reminded me...I lost my zombie in the wild  oh well, I swear, Leo the gravedigger guy has a crush on me

If that was implemented, it should be you choose between the clothes or gems but the gems given (amount & kind) are completely random.

Interesting, kinda undecided on this...

Generally when i throw up i would rather not have it in my mouth :-X
  • 3 weeks later...

I'll support you somehow.

Idea:

Too many random event so I don't think jagex need to add more.

Once completed a random event it will wither give 5,000 coins, 5-10 uncut gems of any type, emotes or clothings (only for P2P).

Clothings will be for P2P only.

Emotes will be decided by jagex.

The reason why I raised the coins and gems is because its a complete waste of time doing them so we should get paid more.

All cut gems will be changed to uncut.

Jagex can just remove all F2P random event clothings, I personally support it (including full shade).

I hope you will support this too.
