Hmm,Anarchy isn't going well. I have dial-up, and Anarchy takes 1750MB. Which is 1.75 GB. I only have about 80 Gig in my comp, and about 25 Gig space left...

It's going to take forever to download.

And... Forever is.... 70 Hours - 120 Hours. Screw it. I need a game around the size of Rs. <.<

I dont need a siggy no moar.

Which thing are you using to download it? BitTorrent doesn't work that well unless you're experienced with it and know how to make it go fast.

It took me about 1-2 hours from one of the other ones. I forget which, but I'm pretty sure any should get it done. Quicker than 70 hours at least.

He said he had dial-up. You can usually download around 10megs an hour on that, so that's about 175 hours.

Dial-Up is that slow.

(My friend has dial-up, but he's been able to run quite a few big-filed games. :-s )

Anyways...I doubt there are any online MMORPGs better than RuneScape. And most games you download are around 1 GB, some even more.

Although there are a few decent text-based games. Not that good if you're looking for something like RuneScape.

There is only one other browser based game I can think of but I doubt you would realy want to play it. It is called sherwood dungon. You move with the arrow keys, attack with control. It gets better, no passwords! Yep you just have to type in the name and you can play it, you don't even need to get an account. Better yet after about 3 days it gets rid of all your data! Sounds fun don't it.

Not many web-based MMOs, but a few text-based ones. But text-based ones aren't that great.

The only web-based MMO I've played other than RuneScape is Club Penguin. I really doubt you want that.

But eh, I guess text-based ones are worth a shot. Tribal Wars and Travian are pretty good.

Running big filed games ain't a problem with dialup. Downloading them is.

Aside from the fact that he meant browser based MMO's, uh... no.

And as far as those games being like runescape -- the only simularity is they are all MMORPG's. Runescape is a little java based game that can hardly pass off as an MMO someone would take seriously while the others are all big budget, non-browser based and actually can be passed off as good MMO's.

anyways someone listed it earlier but http://www.mmorpg.com = win.

Anyone know anything about the Firefly MMOG? I might actually play that one, even though MMOs aren't really my thing.

RuneScape: quick download, browser based, easily run, decent game.

So if I asked for something 'like' runescape it would basically mean the above.^^

So you could actually have enough for a raid group or two in progress at once? Amazing!

WoW private servers are horrible, I don't see how anyone could play the game on them.
