TheValeyard Posted August 19, 2010 Share Posted August 19, 2010 Aside from the broken vs multiplayer Gears is actually very good, like you said though the average grunts take too much damage, like almost a whole clip of ammo a lot of the time even on the normal difficulty. Also Sketch said that Skulls won't be collected in campaign sadly, but there is little surprises you might really enjoy if you go looking for them. It's not "in my opinion", it's "my opinion is better than yours because". I see that happen often in MMT and VGC but that's not happening here. We just exchanged our personal opinions on different games. Video game preference is far too subjective to have a serious debate over... I just want to share my perceptions on certain games and hear about his because it's interesting to know what others like/dislike about games. Also, I think Gears looks like crap. Litteraly. Its colours vary from a dark shade of brown to a slightly lighter shade of brown. Just makes the surroundings less interesting. Ha, I actually liked the [cabbage]-gray/brown atmosphere of Gears. It seemed fitting. The layouts for some of the levels were terrible though. This is something I give Halo more credit for - a better environment. I just have more fun taking down Gears enemies because it's more of a challenge to me than Halo's were. Like I have said, both will be great and there is no need to be fighting. If anyone else does adds leaked information, please HIDE it with well notice that it is leaked information. Going dark means not knowing any news, watching any vidoes, screen shots, etc about a game until it is released. Its not because of you Rolf, just my own reasons. Also I was watching a live stream yesterday; it had a very nice framerate and quality, I watched from Midway through Mission 5 I think to the beginning of Mission 10. It is a must get game if you are a Halo fan, amazing. A ton of parts felt CE like, one part reminded me of ODST and Halo 2, others Truth and Reconciliation, just amazing. Zilla Posted August 23, 2010 Share Posted August 23, 2010 Apparently there is 3 hidden Campaign Missions in Reach (according to some people who originally got the game, so I trust their word), I thought of something... Bungie has gone crazy; Maybe they have remade some Halo CE missions, for us Long-time Bungie/Halo fans. I happen know what one of the levels is, so that leaves that part out of the question so there is 2 possible missions. Maybe Bungie has added a Reach Engine Version of some parts of Halo CE? "Pillar of Autumn" and "Halo" would be two nice levels; so it might be possible, with Bungie's resources and the simplicity of those two they could make them without messing up too much of the core game. Perhaps it is the favorite CE levels they might make. Indeed. Also the person making these trailers needs to get to a Halo movie ASAP. With a good script righter, CGI expert, and Microsoft's overfill of money; it could end up a good movie.
