Heroic Map pack was free in Halo 3 as far as I recall, Legendary and Mythic were the ones costing you.And i'm not so sure about these remakes, i'd quite like to see more original stuff.

Perhaps they have remade the Scarab Gun. Let's hope they put it at a hard to get place on a big level. Like on those big mountains in ToTS.

Bungie is able to cram a huge amount of things on a disc, all with full out features while maintaining graphics that compete with other top notch games on the 360. It still confuses me why people say it is "sub-par" compared to other games. Also if it's a legit copy you have, you can go online. Bungie said all stats get wiped on release through in the last weekly update. Also when you are done, can you tell me which mission has what you think the best music?
