QuestHelps- the Anti-Helpsite?

Featured Replies

People, people...

The point of the game is to enjoy it. The point of quests is to enjoy them. The point of quests is not to do them as fast and as efficiently as possible to maximize your xp/hour.

Hence, there are people who might want a hint when they're stuck. Not "what do I need to do now?", no, just a hint.

Do fansites such as tip.it give such hints? I don't think so...

"Noob" is an insult. "Noob" is overused. Be polite. Try to say "noob" less than once a day.

Thank you.

it's an alternative to help sites for eithher those who don't know about help site or like them, maybe ppl who are stuck bout don't want to lets say "cheat" using typically help sites which give all the answers.

There's no such thing as "wireless." Just really long extension cords.

Personally I use it, yes, quests can be fun without a guide (*Gasp*).

When everything's been said and done, more has been said than done.

Not really; they aren't in depth, and 1-2 hints/pointers/walkthroughs a day? Doesn't help much, and help sites are more conveinient, since you don't have to log in and pick the quest you need help on and such, but I guess that's just me.

Sometimes the questhelp helps me at spots that quest guides confuse me at. They're good as alternative quest guides

I dont think they are discouraging fan sites. I think they are just ecouraging their site.

I am pretty sure they don't mind websites like tip.it, runehq, rscommunity, etc.

However, they do care about the fake sites with key loggers and viruses.

Therefor, they would rather every 1 use their own system instead of googling and finding a bad site and getting their accounts hacked.

do you honestly think that jagex will put a link in the main window to tip.it so that we can take the views and money from ads?

as long as they release all the f2p guides then its pretty much a good choice

Its not like tip.it and others are against the rules..

But they know we use it.. like if were looking at a quest guide we get all the items before we do it right?

In TGBR theyre like "wow you brought your helmet and diving apparatus and no one told you to, your psychic!"
