Well, it's my senior year in HS (finally :D) and in our yearbook, there's always quotes either under our pictures or somewhere in the book. We need to hand our quotes in tomorrow, and I still have absolutely NO idea what mine should be. So, I need your guys' help to think of one. It can be funny, deep, weird, ANYTHING, so run wild. Thanks a bunch. :)

whats a senior? :?

sen̢̮â¬Å¡Ãâ÷ior /̢̮â¬Â¹Ãâ¹Ã¢â¬Â siny̢̮â¬Â°Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢r/ Pronunciation[seen-yer] Pronunciation Key -

̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Ãâadjective

1. older or elder (usually designating the older of two men bearing the same name, as a father whose son is named after him, often written as Sr. or sr. following the name): I would like to see the senior Mr. Hansen Mr. Edward Andrew Hansen, Sr. Compare junior (def. 1).

2. of earlier appointment or admission, as to an office, status, or rank: a senior partner.

3. of higher or the highest rank or standing.

4. (in American schools, colleges, and universities) of or pertaining to students in their final year or to their class.

5. (in certain American colleges and universities) of or pertaining to the final two years of education, during which a student specializes in a certain field of study.

Considering, he said he is in high school, I think we are inclined to believe number four is correct.

Was that hard? Did you really have to get someone to look it up for you?

Yeah, that's what I thought.

Instead of being a jerk, you might have said "a senior is someone in their last year of highschool"

my senior quote is gonna be "the world would be great if it wasnt for the people in it."

Meh, I'm no fan of empty rocks.

I'd go for Mark Twain quotes, even if they could be cliche. He's got some damn good funny ones, as well as a plethora of profound ones. My hero as a realistic pessimist :-w .

Oh, and seconded, Alansson.

Fullmetal Alchemist, you will be missed. A great ending to a great series.

If our school ever had a yearbook... I'd go with an anime qoute of course. the tough part would be choosing which one.

probably... "throw away logic and kick, and kick reason to the curb!"

although it would be a very hard decision. There are so many great ones. and so many quotes from moments i've shared with friends in school that would be great as well.

[Pretentious Latin Phrase Here]

you know. half the time with those quotes, they arent even conjugated properly either. somebody has just taken 2 words and stuck them together, assuming that it makes sense.

Even though i take Latin, I wouldnt have a quote written in latin.

Seconded. Though, ironically actually being able to translate it does seem take away from the meaning, personally anyways.

But ya, I see so many Latin quotes, read the given translation, and just go how the hell did they get that out of that!?

My 6th year quote was an Aldous Huxley quote.

"My fate cannot be mastered. It can only be collaborated with, and thereby, to some extent directed. Nor am I the captain of my soul, I am only its noisiest passenger."

La lune ne garde aucune rancune.

There are better ways to build one's ego via internet, you know.

Zonorhc, you got beaten to that quote :P . Still, not only is there a high chance another senior is using that, but honestly, do you want something like that to be "your quote" o_O?
