PizzaMan94
alright, recently i've been looking into getting a new airsoft gun. i currently have an electric m16, a spring p226 pistol, and 2 other guns that i don't know the model names and they are broken. so i'm thinking of getting a shotgun. the current model i was thinkin of getting is the Tanaka M870. but i kinda want to know of and other good lookin shotguns that are spring and NOT gas. so if you know of a awesome airsoft shotgun that has good fps and is spring, let me know. BTW i'm really cheap and my budget is around $50. and don't say that $50 can get anything good, as you'dbe surprised... i've narrowed my decision to 2 choices, both have around 325 fps. doogsidoof
ive never owned a airsoft shot gun, but i think that the one with the wood stock looks the best Owner of a Quest cape since 9/11/08It's not about the other people, its about shooting cute furry things that explode. sebbeberg
ive never owned a airsoft shot gun, but i think that the one with the wood stock looks the best If you'd take the best looking rifle without knowing the quality of it then you're pretty dumb. (No offence tho) The best thing you could do is actually asking on a airsoft forum. As the experience is very small here if not totally way out. (Comes from a airsofter that got too many bad rifles because he didn't ask before he bought it)
PizzaMan94
first off, theres no airsoft rifle anywhere... its shotguns. and i've made sure on the fps, price, and even various reviews on the 2 shotguns. and i know the feel on the first one as its a full scale replica of the real thing, and i've shot rifles and shotguns close to the real thing. and the 2nd one, i'm pretty sure it will feel good as the stock and handle are the same as on my m16(airsoft). Mechwariorx
Who makes the two guns? For a great shotgun I would look at the Tokyo Marui M3 Super 90. It is a tad pricey, but I have heard it is an amazing gun. first off, theres no airsoft rifle anywhere... its shotguns. I would have to disagree there. Here are a few big retailers that sell airsoft guns. http://www.redwolfairsoft.com http://www.evike.com http://www.airsoftatlanta.com http://www.kapowwe.com http://www.poweredgeusa.com As you can see on the front pages of many of these websites there are quite a few types of guns that are using in airsoft games. sa121
I own the second, if its the UTG one. It's a nice cheap, not easily breakable gun. I'd reccomend it. It shoots pretty accuratly, and ~100 feet before going up/down. Unless you have the hop-up up all the way. then it curves up after 10 meters. dsk803
i would suggest anything green gas or co2 powered that has 300+ fps, 30-2000 round clip and had either semi or automatic capabilities, any gun with all of those qualities should be pretty nice :) In the time of peace prepare for war-General PattonDsk805 lvl 139 6* mageBlink182lover lvl 100 7* mageFounder and Current clan leader of: PunkRock Lovers(rank#4)
Kill_Thomas9
I'd ask on an airsoft forum, or you'll get responses like: "Get this 1!! Its cleer!"
foofoomagoo
well i personally airsoft alot, and to be honest i find spring and gas guns a tad unreliable. Although Tokyo Marui has a new shotgun you might want to check out 26M Crafting XP
Bloodredsword
YES! SOMEONE WHO WANTS AIRSOFT ADVICE! W00T! I've owned a shotgun like that before(the non tactical one) I'd personally go with the plain one. For a spring gun you really don't need "uber tactical rails x5 with lazer sites...OMG HAX" http://www.airsplat.com/Itemdesc.asp?Ca ... 7L&eq=&Tp= only 30 bucks and the extended mags are only like 10$. And you can take off the rails if you want(although then you don't really have a sight) Also on shorty usa: clicky UTG is also an overall good brand....my gun lasted 2 and a half years of abuse..pretty darn good for a spring. Well thats my advice..cheers, hope you decide on a gun! Listen to the mighty words of Bloodredsword. Tip it MGC Xbox live leader board!
PizzaMan94
first off, theres no airsoft rifle anywhere... its shotguns. I would have to disagree there. Here are a few big retailers that sell airsoft guns. i meant on this forum... and also, i absolutely hate gas guns, as they are pricey, gas is expensive and in wars, noobody likes them thanks blood, the tactical CQB one that i was lookin at is just like that one except it has a retractable stock. Bloodredsword
oh one more thing. Those tactical stock tend to rip right off the gun, mostly because they are so heavy and because the plastic piece that connects them to the gun is really really weak. I'm not sure if they've updated it to a metal one...but I don't know Listen to the mighty words of Bloodredsword. Tip it MGC Xbox live leader board! PizzaMan94
alright, and i have a m16 with the same stock and its been fine except a bolt fell out so retracting its a pain... but thats my fault :wall:
Bloodredsword
well the thing is the shotgun is plastic...and the stock usually has somekind of metal weight in it, or the tube that lets you retract the stock is metal.. Zonorhc
I wonder if anyone has ever gotten around to making an Airsoft bolter... Or an Airsoft chainsword. That would be way cool. ktmcf121
in my experience, you get what you pay for. if you pay 20 bucks for a wal-mart airsoft gun, it'll be fine for a few days, then it's junk. UTG is kinda the in-between brand. not so expensive, but it's significantly better quality than off-brand guns. however, once you've owned/used a high-end gun like a TM/CA, there's no going back to a cheaper one. also, the airsoft shotguns are not shotguns in the typical sense of the word. the one i had would only shoot up to 3 bbs at a time, and was infinitely more accurate when you only shot one at a time. if you're looking for a spray of bb's like a real shotgun, you'd have to look into the grenade launcher types, Mad Bull makes a good one, i've heard. If you don't mind me adding, ISC/Airsoft Elite is also a pretty good name brand. yeah... my electric m16 was $200. and it can shoot the 0.12g BBs at around 400 fps. Cool, who makes your M16?
