Unitedite
The current information in this section is seariously misleading in some places, and has lead to at least one person i know wasting thousands of gp. Some of the time you mention that quests are required to weild certain items (such as teh square shield) and some of the time you just don't bother - implying that there is no quest requirement involved. The D Long is one example of this; you say that you have to have done the quest to buy it in the Lost City, but not that even if you buy it from another player you have to do the quest to weild it. [needs to be added - I've been told even the d square can't be wielded without legends quest] In a little hilltop village they gambled for my clothesI bargained for salvation and they gave me a lethal doseI offered up my innocence, I got repaid with scorn"Come in'', she said, "I'll give you shelter from the storm"
NukeMarine
May be useful to people fighting Mages, this is about defense against mage attacks. --------------------------------------------- Dear Nuke Marine, Thank you for your message about the magical defence. Your magical defence is balanced in a 70% magic skill and 30% defence split. In answer to your second question, your magic skill is how often you hit with your spells and your magic defence is what resistance you have to magical attacks. I hope this answers your query. Yours Sincerely Mod ***** RuneScape Customer Support ----------------------------------------------- Meaning someone in full Black with 30 magic, 70 defense will be hit more often than someone in full Black with 70 magic, 70 defense. Gfniner
D hally spec also gives a strength bonus when used. My max hit w/o spec is 24, my max with spec is 26. Here's some better images for the spec also. It shows the advantage of using a hally as well the spec. Personally my favorite is the last pic, just because I got a nice hit in that one. scottmorgan77
The details on which items are kept when you die. I'm only a f2p player, but i know that weaps and armour up to rune are worked by smithing lvl. eg. rune kite would be kept over a rune chain. Who want's to test this?... devast8u
Dragon Battleaxe Special does not increase the str by 20%. Rather it is about 24%. How? Well, when i used the spec at originally 70 str, it increased my str to 87. If the Spec increased str by 20%, my str lvl would be 84. Headnazgul
Granite legs' picture works but it's being shrunk by the size of the text in the same square, at least for me. Also the stats on the granite legs aren't entirely correct. The defense bonuses are fine but the attack bonuses are as follows: Stab: +0 Slash: +0 Crush: +0 Range: -31 Magic: -18 [pic needs to be spec'd at 42x42]

scorpus57
Hi guys Just noticed a thing that might confuse some people in regards to the Magic Longbow and Magic Composite Bows' special attack. It reads: Power Shot Magic Longbow Magic Composite Bow I think this should be changed to: Power Shot Magic Longbow and Magic Composite Bow This makes it that little bit less confusing (eg. what is a Magic Longbow Magic Composite Bow?) ~~!~~ScOrPuS~~!~~

sheepdean
^^ Barrelchest anchor now has an amazing +100 str bonus, and a +92 bonus. also, the fixing fee is the same as one would get if somone died with the anchor and would usually drop it (230k) Back by popular demand! And I guess I just wanted to tell you, as the light starts to fade, that you aree the reason, that I am not afraid, and I guess I just wanted to mention, as the heavens will fall, that we will be together soon if we will be anything at all. sheepdean
+^^ the barrelchest anchor requires 60 attack and 40 strength which i personally think is odd, as it is made of steel... sjefderat
In comment on Trazma's post of several months ago: if combat would only be straight forward melee, then I agree, but the experienced slayers under us know: if you go into the slayer tower with any of the equipment on the list, then once you pass the crawling hands your behind is toast. If you do not mention a black mask in the best "slayer" melee outfit and never talk about the salve amulet, then go back to boot camp, that is were you belong. These things have a big influence. And putting a dragon square as the best shield..., well noone is sure which is the best. So what to do? I have the idea that we could make a detailed report on all the best combat/slayer items and what their best use is, so you would have a section what to wear on your head and why, what to wear around your neck and why, and this could go further than just combat. 2100+ total 3rd best skiller ever at 99 combat (maybe the best, highest total below 100 cb)99 Cook 99 Fletch 99 Woodcut 99 Firemaking 99 Range 99 Mage 99 Thief 99 Fish 99 Agility 99 Mining 99 Runecrafting 99 Hp 99 Slayer 99 Smith 99 Hunt 99 Construction 99 Craft 99 Farming
AgentK
In the Quest Items part of the guide the brine saber reads: Drop from Brine Rats, which can be killed after completing Olaf's Quest and acquiring level 70 Slayer. m1cha34l
For the part of the guide with the 'Bronze gloves' 'Iron Gloves' 'Barrows Gloves' etc. It may be worth putting that they are just called 'gloves' and those names have been given to avoid confusion. I also removed the background of the brine sabre picture. The picture was edited from the origonal one on the page.
m1cha34l
Also the new dragonfire /anti-dragon shield pics with out a backround. (Anti-Dragon shield) (Dragonfire shield) Also the origonal shield is called an 'Anti-dragon shield'.
