The second picture is just on the edge of Real Life pictures, so please watch out when you post those.

*note that this is not a picture of me, therefore not against the rules (that and you wouldn't recognize him from this pic anyway)

Umm.. I don't know what to make of this.. Did you just put a 'art brush' filter over things in Photoshop or..? -.-

May i remind this forum that I do not own anything other than paint?

I did both of these by hand, pixel by pixel...although not in the traditional sense. The eye one took 2 days, the second one took a few hours (less color changes)

The second one is nice :)

so is the first, but the second one is better.

Thanks, yaff! That means a lot :D

Looks like a picture put on 'Oilify.'

Im guessing thats a function that photoshop has...And as I said before I don't have that.

very simple designs

Simplicity isn't always bad <.<

And by the way, I cant see the post where he said that. It could have been edited, I dont know.

If you blended the colors together with smudge or something, I think you could call it a digipaint.

I did the same thing as you then used the smudge tool and ended up with this

Well In that case, they're damn good.

Why thank you :D

Agreed. You should get photoshop and do the same thing using brushes. Guaranteed, they'd look awesome.

Thanks, but I already knew I need photoshop :(

Oh that was in ms paint?

Nice job then.

Try downloading GIMP for fun, its what I use

Thank you :D and i'm already working on getting a better art program

Because you're using a direct reference why not go one step futher than just making a blobbed copy? you should be in full control of volume, shape and detail. I'd be atleast tempted to experiment with things a mear photo can't give you, exagerate, be creative, turn it into something in itself. I don't know if you know what I mean but I suppose I just don't get what you're trying to gain from these except maybe trying to borderline the no rl photo's rule.
