October 17, 200718 yr I would love to know the quickest cheapest way to get 70 mage for f2p, (current mage lvl: 59 almost 60 15k xp away) :
October 17, 200718 yr Probably high-alch or fire blast. Actually, Fallly teleport may be faster, but very expensive. October 17, 200718 yr Wear full bronze for the negative mage effect, and curse/weaken/confuse. Go to the caged zamorak monk in Varrock Castle I beliebve he is in and just fire away. P.S. Only wear bronze, the higher the armor the more mage bonus it has.
October 17, 200718 yr alch or curse .... curse if u are cheap and alch if u wanna merchant while maging exp ... something to say about my english grammar ?!?!? , okay , but do it in french !
October 18, 200718 yr I believe full rune is more efficient than bronze to get Magic up, as it has more negative magic bonus. But training on the zammy monk strains the fingers like...well you get my message. My BlogJoin the Campaign for more F2P Bank Space![bleep], my parrot has better grammar than you.
October 18, 200718 yr I believe full rune is more efficient than bronze to get Magic up, as it has more negative magic bonus... No, absolutely not. The magic attack bonus is exactly the same for both. The metal type does not matter. (all pics by DroolMAN) So you can wear full Bronze and get the same negative stat as wearing full Rune. Hope this helps
October 18, 200718 yr I would love to know the quickest cheapest way to get 70 mage for f2p, Well quick is not cheap and cheap is not quick... So, you need to pick which method you want to use. (current mage lvl: 59 almost 60 15k xp away) The cheapest way, in F2P, is to RC your own Body runes and cast failed Curses. If you wear full armor of any metal then you can get your magic attack stat to -68 or so. That is enough to always fail whenever you cast a Curse spell. But, even if the spell failed, you still get the full 29 magic exp for the cast. You can wear full helm, chest plate, legs, kite shield, SoS boots, green vambraces, and a staff. You can cast the spell at many, many locations. I prefer to use a 100% safe spot in a multicombat zone. You could try casting from the key room in the Varrock sewers across the water at the 4 zombies in the ladder room. Even if you don't RC your own runes, failed Curse is still a very effective way to train. But you can't autocast it and it never gives any HP exp. Fire strike averages about 19 exp per cast, Curse always 29, Fire Bolt averages about 34, and Crumble Undead averages about 39. The fastest way is to cast whatever spell gives you the most exp per cast. Fally teleport, Hi alch, and Fire Blast all give a lot of exp but are very expensive for training. You can look at the Tip It magic exp table for exact numbers but many F2P people train with failed Curse or Crumble Undead. Hope this helps

WAY much expensive but its not long to buy supplies. WHY would You alch feather??!! it would be much faster and probably cheaper as well to Fally Teloport When a true genius appears in the world, you may know him by this sign, that the dunces are all in confederacy against him. ~Jonathan SwiftWebsite Updates/Corrections here. Unless you can make a profit out of those things, I still recommend failed curses. If you can high alch steel plates, and still make a tidy profit, before continuing to buy steel bars and nats again...   ...be my guest. October 19, 200718 yr curse is best option second is crumble undead.. u can always find some guy selling chaos cheap.. i found a guy selling 10k chaos for 90 each lol and i use them for crumble undead.. way cheaper method then using fire blast 1 other option is combining tele-grab with high alch.. get a desired amount of laws like maybe 100 to start with, find empty world and go to 40-47 wild and tele-grab nats. 2 laws gets u 7 nats total only problem to this is the constant pk teams that travel there to kill any macros...

If you have nats to burn, just superheat iron ores in the bank for fine XP and sell the bars when you are done.
