no, you really need good bolts. I recommend rune x-bow with diamond and ruby bolts.

 

I prefer c-bow, but your choice.

no, bone crossbow is faster than regular crossbows, and karils crossbow is even faster still.

 

 

 

OT: it would be possible to do the waves with bone bolts, just be aware that it'll take you quite a bit longer therefore using more p pots. I'd say it wouldn't be possible at your current level, but with 70+ prayer its probably manageable.

Well yes Karil Crossbow is faster but it doesn't use bolts (technically >_>) nor is it a regular crossbow.

With a high ranged level(90+) and a high prayer bonus you could possibly get quite far in the fight caves, if not get to and kill Jad.

 

 

 

I would recomend taking something else to kill Jad though.

what about the 360'S? there's a lot of them, and seeing 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 aint gonna be pretty.

 

 

 

You want the best you can get, crystal bow at the very least.

Think it out before you do it, or even ask. Why are bone bolts used? overall for their low cost. Bone bolts hit decently aswell, there's no denieing that. But there's also no denieing that addy-rune bolts hit much nicer on high leveld monsters.

 

 

 

Now, in fight caves you'll be praying near constantly when it gets to the later end of the mini game. Of course, to pray you need pray pots and super restores constantly. So, if it takes you longer to kill the mosnter (which it will) with bone bolts you'll be using more prayer potions, which can carry quite a heft price tag in bulk. In the end, you'll use more pray potions using bone bolts, which will cost you more, negating the most likely reason you choose to use them.

 

 

 

If you use bone bolts without 90+ (i'm guessing around there) range you're doing yourself no favour, you may even end up spending nearly as much then as if you'd use the mith-rune bolt method.

 

 

 

You should always try a trial run with your setup though (stopping when p pots are really needed), jsut to see how well you're going to do.

IMO YES! I got to wave 36 with 2 ppots and 12 tunas.

Well yeah it is possible, but i would try to get your range level higher first. People say bone bolts are like mith bolts? so your max is probaly 19. I got to 5 waves before jad with mith bolts on 72 range. But yeah still did pretty bad.

 

 

 

So try getting your range level up higher to maybe 85. Then try bone bolts if they dont work try addy.

You? I would say no. You would need a higher range lvl to use poorer equipment. I would suggest running in there a few times with bone bolts to learn how to do things but get the quality stuff when you aim for Jad.
