Ryan Shelton. Many Aussies would know him from Real Stories and Rove. I think that he is the funniest man in Australia at the moment. He does things so subtle which makes him hilarious. Who would have thought that someone walking into a wall would be funny? Not me. But Ryan Shelton did it and it cracked me up.

Funny or not?

I didn't really like him, but something that did make me laugh was when he was talking about the politicians... "A woman." :XD:

Yeah He's not bad. I also love Hughsy. Especially his weekly segment on Rove. Which reminds me...its on soon. :)

Its real people from the audience laughing. Its not like one of those fake laugh machines they use. Rove (which this guy features on) is a weekly entertainment show, filmed in front of a live studio audience. Its like the American show Late Night with Conan O' Brian for example.

There is no audience in the "Younge People" video.

I thought it was alright but i'm not too much a fan of stuff when the actors making sure the audience know they are talking to them, well at least in comedy ;).

Mildly humorous, but it seemed like he was trying too hard. Didn't seem very subtle at all...

I also think that people don't realise that the laughs in the background are real. The show is filmed with a live studio audience and they are the ones laughing.

Tbh Ryan Shelton can be funny but sometimes his humor just doesn't work. The best segment he ever did was when he was in America and tried out as an actor in theatre, but other than that his sketches have been... hard to watch.

What The..? was great! The funniest one I ever saw was a picture someone sent in where it had a sign about 2 metres into the air saying "Please place shopping trolleys here" (obviously it was outside a shopping centre) and some genius had put the shopping trolley on top of the sign upside down. Classic moment...so so funny when I saw it! :lol:

He is definitely entertaineing; I'll give him that. But he isn't really "funny" like he did not make me laugh out loud. I smiled some - yeah, but it wasn't hysterical.

Meh... He's nothing special. He gets a laugh out of me once or twice, but mostly it's just boring. I prefer stand-up over stuff like this, tbh.

 

 

 

P.S. Rove should never have taken the job as 5th Grader host... *Shudder* :ohnoes:
