tryto
I Am F2p I'm sure that using strength potions would speed up my training. My stats are currently 60/60/70 with 70 hp. I am 80 combat. I usually train at Giant spiders in the SOS. Would it be economicla to use potions while training now? Or, when would it become worthwhile to use them? Lord Diddy
Imo strength potions in f2p are only used in Pking. Unless you manage to get them for very cheap (like under 500 each), then its just a waste of money really.
Georgelemmons
yeah, they're too expensive to do any real good. Thanks to Uno for the awsome sig <
palas1
They are not too expensive unless you are really poor, I use them and only wasted 100 (3) of them on 75->82 str. :) I suggest buying them cause f2p training is too slow so it's good to have something that speeds it up. :)
time2quit
They really speed up training a lot, better in member with super sets But if you have a steady money maker, guess you do? then the extra what 10k an hour tops wont hurt.... SportsGuy
What I did was fight those spiders for a little while and pick up the spiders eggs until I got a full inventory, then banked 'em. Then I went to fight hobgoblins or hill giants until i got a full inventory of limpwurt roots. Then I took the appropriate money, went to the apothecary and made them into strength potions. Voila, about 22-26 strength potions. Bring along one or two with you into the spider's nest, fight them while filling up your inventory of spider's eggs, drop the empty vials, exit, bank, bring two or three along to fight the hobgobs or giants, drop the empty vials...before long, you're ending up with more and more in your inventory. Sell some extras in the grand exchange or just keep banking for PKing. At least, that's what I do. I have 75 in the bank at the moment with about 25 in the GE... amitoz
Worth it. Come to my Clan chat (I'm there if I'm online) if you wish to borrow a Green H'ween mask, Blue H'ween Mask, Red H'ween Mask, or Santa for a reasonable price.
Doomster
Collect eggs at Karamja volcano (1 spawn) or Varrock dungeon (2 spawns). Kill Hill giants (best) or hobgoblins (if hillies are too busy) for limps. Have potions made at 5gp a time, bit slow to do the dialogue every time. pinguimmaiden
Because he will spend at least 800gp in ea pot, when his stats are good to kill the spiders easily, so it will be a spend of cash, its better him become a P2P and make them himself... tryto
I can mine about 85 adamant ore in the wildy per hour. That's over 100k. I'm sure i can make the money spent back with the time saved.
