Well I was just thinking that gaining level 99 isn't much unlike getting from level 1-2. It's just the same old sparks, another congrats message except an added skillcape bonus. I just wish something spectacular would happen to make it even more spectacular.

 

 

 

Some ideas:

 

 

 

1. When you reach level 99 everyone around you in a 20 space area gets a message " _____ has just achieved level 99 in ____!"

 

 

 

2.A beam of light comes down on you and you do a special emote pretaining to the skill that is not like the skillcape emote.

So it's likely Jagex will never do it for combat skills at the very least, although i do agree with you.

That would be pretty cool.

this happens in several mmo's, its good.

 

 

 

on one mmo i play. when you gain a level thats over the first level cap (50). whenever you level alot of light appears, and a server message tells everyone in the area (town, region etc). that person has achieved enlightenment.

 

 

 

its a good feature.

If that happened, i'd get my 99s in world 2 lol. 50+people would get the message, i'd be so famous :lol:

Oh that would be really cool. For combat it could appear after you finish defeating the monster.

I already made a very similiar suggestion to this not long ago

i completely like it, and i don't think it would interefere with combat, the normal fireworks don't, and i think it would be cool to know when someone gets a 99, it could work with quest cape as well.

I think a lvl 99 achievement certainly deserves something more spectacular than sparkles. Dunno if you're ideas are the best, but definately agree with the concept :)

Nope, just very similiar to this, I've bumped it up.

Sounds pretty good to me, would make the earning of a 99 even more special, which it could use. I can just Imagine getting a 99, and everyone runs up and starts cheering me on.... wishful thinking, i suppose. :lol:
